One reason being the avg and the other price of diesel being lesser than petrol. Honda crv is a petrol suv.
Thanx @ Jay…..but i am not talking about Crv., Outlander, Landrovers..because they are expensive….i am asking about Safari ,Scorpio.Aria, Fortuner,Endeavour.Xuv5oo,Pajero, Santa Fe or Yeti
There are good petrol SUVs available – The Maruti Grand Vitara, the Honda CR-V, Mitsubishi Outlander, are all petrol SUVs in the below Rs. 25 lakh segment (and lower down you also have the Duster & upcoming EcoSport in petrol as well).
I meant to say that these suvs r less expensive and offer diesel to save fuel costs and as their avg is low so diesel makes more sense. Also petrol suvs will find less buyers compared to diesel. Even in the compact suv duster petrol found less buyers but i guess the ecosport can change it with the ecoboost engine.
Funnily enough, one has never really thought about the boot space of an Ambassador – it is huge and does swallow a fair bit of luggage. The Etios has 590 litres of space and is the largest in its segment as well as a couple of segments above it too. I would think the Ambassador would be comparable in size.
Optra Magnum’s 2 litre diesel should give you a fuel efficiency of about 12 kmpl in normal conditions. It’s a good car to buy, but spares would probably be an issue now since the car has been discontinued.
I’m assuming you’re talking of the 5000 km service, which should include an oil change. Just drive your car normally – and you’ll have a troublefree run with it.
neither …. both suit for taxi use more than personal … in same budget i would selecte sail sedan, dzire, amaze in that order …
Yes, both looks awkward, love to have Amaze or Dzire in place of them.
Dont go for them. Consider amaze and dzire if possible, otherwise toyota etios. Personally i would go for the dzire over the amaze.
as far as these two are to be considered-etios,however apart from etios , there are many good options available like the honda amaze or the swift dzire
If you are from bangalore then I would suggest you to go for sireesh auto. From my personal experience they have a very good after sales service.

in long trips one should stop every 2 hours of driving to break the stress free the legs & freshen up a bit. in continuous driving ppl tends to crack due to fatigue. so refreshments are important say every 2 hours or 200 kms of drive. i’m a frequent tourer i stops every 300 kms. for refreshment. stoppages also depends on the territory you are…[Read more]

Delhi-Jaipur is an absolute mess. Hit the Jaipur by-pass, and its a great drive from then on. Leave by 5 30, so as to avoid the morning rush at Manesar. Jaipur by-pass entry is an unmarked slip road on the left, about 20km after the Shahpura toll plaza. Thats where all the trucks head, you its not easy to miss. Once the by-pass is over, you hit…[Read more]

Stay in speed limits..!!
The Safari Storme 4×4 is my pick.
Yeah….Tata Safari Storme VX 4X4….Its Spacious, powerfull, Big & Handsome….Road presence is very good..Comparing to XUV its have very less features, but Ride quality is very good.& also good Offroader
wat abt price of mahindra xuv 500
13.5L-16.5L, depending on the model. I will suggest the Safari Storme over the XUV. More space, better ride quality, better brakes, better interiors, most comfortable and better resale value. And, then, its a proper 4×4 with a low ratio gearbox and limited slip differential. That’s serious hardware. Also, local mechanics are always willing to…[Read more]
