L&T is a new name in insurance and yes, I have also heard that their quotes are cheaper than the others. No idea about their service though.

About the spare wheel cover, its okay to purchase it since when you have a Flat tyre then you won’t like to have a dirty tyre with bird poops, dust etc. Bumper applique looks good and also if you carry luggage every now and then it will serve a purpose of have your top of the bumper from scratches, otherwise I haven’t seen anyone using it in here…[Read more]

get the spare wheel cover, guess your’s ain’t alloy, thus the hanging spare wheel will give taxi cab look….. the rear door is for luggage thus no brazing from passenger boots on bumper, get the applique if you going to carry heavy baggages or gas cylinders something which are heavy and need a rest at bumper top after lifting from ground and…[Read more]

I guess the Spare wheel cover is part of the deal if the wheels are NOT alloy. You need to buy them only for the alloy spare wheels. Regarding the use of the spare wheel, others in forum should be in a better position than me to advise. Personally if my wheel is alloy, I would love to flaunt it and also the black wheel on the back would visually…[Read more]

Take Yokohama A Drive. Decibel series may be super silent and grippy but is a tad too soft and prone to punctures.

I am using Yoko C drives, great grip (wet & dry), reduced noise, better braking performance, zero punctures (almost 10k used). I was previously on Goodyear GT3s, one of which had an unfortunate blowout (at 22k with zero punctures) & hence the shift to Yoko. Being comfort oriented they are definitely on the softer side. I run on 195/60 R15 88V…[Read more]

And yes, you could have got the same from aftermarket for a lesser price. But the difference isn’t much. Though the LED one’s looks good but I’d suggest you to go for the normal one’s as not only they’re cheap but also no chance of any issues. Cause the scuffs will be prone to hits, rain water etc.…[Read more]

I would rather take Fiesta auto (P). Better FE so not very expensive considering fuel bills, substantially better gearbox (dual clutch, 10 year / 2,40,000 km warranty) which is maintenance free & sealed, more than a lakh cheaper for ex showroom price, lesser maintenance & insurance bills every year, ride & handling is in a league where the Verna…[Read more]

It is built in Tata X2 platform which is being used by Aria.It has improved a lot when comparing with its predecessors in terms of drivability & handling, ride quality, offers smoother gear shifts… n Storme is a better option than the Scorpio too… Also, Safari’s plus points are its commanding seating position, space &…[Read more]

Take the Storme. Its better than the Scorpio in just about every way. Mind you, the Storme LX costs as much as the Scorpio SLe and is equally well equipped. The Scorpio LX is the budge model and is a lakh cheaper.
