Yes its official. It has been announced on twitter by Ford India.
Verna uses a 4-Speed AT Gearbox which isn’t much fun to drive…
I would rather take Fiesta auto (P). Better FE so not very expensive considering fuel bills, substantially better gearbox (dual clutch, 10 year / 2,40,000 km warranty) which is maintenance free & sealed, more than a lakh cheaper for ex showroom price, lesser maintenance & insurance bills every year, ride & handling is in a league where the Verna…[Read more]
Totally agree with Amit. Fiesta is a better buy. And will surely save you money.
Yes i do agree with shenoy the car is not fun to drive at all, most of the car enthusiast don’t like the the way the car drives(the diesel automatic version). But the car is easy to drive in stop and go city traffic conditions. The best thing about verna is that it has loads of features which it has to offer at that price point, which hardly any car…[Read more]
Tata Safari Storme…!!! It is built in Tata X2 platform which is being used by Aria.It has improved a lot when comparing with its predecessors in terms of drivability & handling, ride quality, offers smoother gear shifts… n Storme is a better option than the Scorpio too… Also, Safari’s plus points are its commanding seating position, space &…[Read more]
Go with the Safari Storme- The Real SUV
Yes, it is correct. Honda has 5k / 3 month as second service which is more or less a health check like the 1k / 1 month first service & 10k / 6 month will be third service after which it should normalize to 10k / 6 month. Regards.
Never
Amaze has lots of cost cutting even beyond (champion) Maruti, so I would skip that car. Punto (Dynamic trim) does not have airbags (which should not be ignored) so pass this one too. You can get i20 Asta (P) for the price of Dzire Zxi & as a product i20 Asta (P) is substantially better than Dzire Zxi. My recommendation amongst these is clearly i20…[Read more]
Punto is the best but might have service issues
sir in our city punto (D) is given at a discount price in reference to a newspaper ad punto (d) starts at 4.99lac as mention in the ad.
if we get a punto (d) at the cost of i20 petrol then should we go for punto (d)??? and the stability of i20 a issue that should be considered while making decision
Stability of i20 is an issue on highways / fast speeds, aggravated with increasing loads. It is not an issue for sedate drivers or family usage where highway speeds rarely go over 80 – 100 kmph. Whichever Punto you pick (P / D), unless it is Emotion trim, i20 with airbags will be my recommendation since I advocate safety & airbags make a lot of…[Read more]
Sail- Better Space and Comfort, Good Feature list, Good 5 year warranty package by GM, A Complete Sedan. with better looks(personal taste)…
Dzire- Better After-sales-service and wider service network, Better Handling..
Maintenance Costs and Mileage would be more or less the Same with both the Cars..
My Pick would be the Sail over the Dzire
The Dzire is a no nonsense purchase here it score in every aspect than the chopped rear boot and the rear legroom.but if you want a proper sedan looking car,the sail it is.looks gorgeous in white from all sides especially back.chevy is sorting out some problems hence the production is stopped for both sail and sail sedan at the moment so waiting…[Read more]
Swift dzire, good looks, neat interiors and good handling. And better resale value.
Sail a full sedan – looks premium all round VFM, Dzire is fair but overpriced (as per my calculations) by 50-60k, so more bang for your buck is Saile (once you see both you will know)
Dzire is as overrated as Swift & does not deserve the asking price in my opinion. Sail is much better as an overall package, not just from a warranty perspective but also space, comfort, practicality etc. My recommendation is clearly Sail sedan. Regards.
It would be a disgrace to Ford’s gearbox if I would compare Tata Indica’s manual gearbox to it. SGST is nothing more than a marketing gimmick to impress an unsuspecting buyer. Be rest assured that no Tata passenger car gearbox can be compared to Ford’s dual clutch transmission, that is how superior it is. Indica is not a bad vehicle at all but…[Read more]
One reason being the avg and the other price of diesel being lesser than petrol. Honda crv is a petrol suv.
Thanx @ Jay…..but i am not talking about Crv., Outlander, Landrovers..because they are expensive….i am asking about Safari ,Scorpio.Aria, Fortuner,Endeavour.Xuv5oo,Pajero, Santa Fe or Yeti
There are good petrol SUVs available – The Maruti Grand Vitara, the Honda CR-V, Mitsubishi Outlander, are all petrol SUVs in the below Rs. 25 lakh segment (and lower down you also have the Duster & upcoming EcoSport in petrol as well).
I meant to say that these suvs r less expensive and offer diesel to save fuel costs and as their avg is low so diesel makes more sense. Also petrol suvs will find less buyers compared to diesel. Even in the compact suv duster petrol found less buyers but i guess the ecosport can change it with the ecoboost engine.
The Safari did come in a petrol version(a 2.0l 135hp mpfi) but the sales was too low and the 2 tonne vehicle was a fuel guzzler also.the petrol price is always higher so the diesel makes more sense in our market for suvs.we can even see now that the crv, outlander etc struggling to sell where as the diesel suvs are selling like hotcakes.Regards…
