Swift and Swift dzire shares the same engine (DDis 74bhp), Polo uses Tdi engine and i20 use Crdi engine (90HP). Crdi has the best refinement in the segment, Highest Power/Torque, Good FE and easy to maintain than the swift/polo.
@ashu varma the diesel engines which these cars are using are running on the same technology common rail direct injection..the difference between them are turbochargers, displacement and no. cylinders
Well that is the main cause of concern for fiat in india. i20 crdi/swift/dzire are way ahead in terms of sales figure and has got satisfied customers.
the southern part of india has got the best auto enthusiasts of india…
So basically you are asking which is better the swift or i20 right? I say i20 because it has way better feature list than the swift(or in your case dzire)even though swift has a edge over the i20 when it comes to performance, but I think the new i20 looks better than swift, even when it comes to cabin space i20 is better, but i20 is a bit more expensive.
Other members have already replied on the similar post below but regarding boot factor as well – the 20 is more spacious and practical. Let us not forget, it has got seat folding feature and that also includes 60:40 split seats.
i20 rocks..!!
The i20 is the better car but the Dzire will be cheaper to maintain if you are buying diesel
Maruti’s cheaper maintenance has more or less become history. Service costs are now very similar bw the Swift/Dzire, i20 and even the Polo. i20 has more space, better build quality and feels premium. And it has perhaps the most comfortable front seats of all hatchbacks.
I would take the i20, its cheaper to service than the Dzire unlike the Maruti perception, also its got some features that are better like the 6 speed gearbox and the reverse sensors with camera, though others like auto lights, wipers, DRL’s are attractions for a first timer. The rear bench is also quite accommodating in the i20 which is not the…[Read more]
I completely agree with the experts..
i20 is more premium and more solidly built and has excellent space and comfort when u compare it with the cramped Dzire…
Dzire looks built out of sorts. Even a swift looks far better the dzire. Well actually Swift/Dzire can not be compare with i20. I20 is way ahead in every department..like built quality, interior fit and finish, space, luxurious feel, all useful features which has there own importance at the time of requirement, Best refined. powerful, fuel…[Read more]
I dis agree with the Experts on this. As i have seen in many post experts always give edge to I20 over Swift/dzire. I have seen and visited many 2nd hand showrooms, there i find least number of swift or swift dzire but ppl r more willing to sell their i20 soon. there shd be a reason on it when it comes to practicality. Swift dzire looks more…[Read more]
I am no fan of superfluous features like push button start or auto headlamps or auto wipers. But the thing is, most Swift/Dzire buyers are conservative and value oriented. They are upgrading from or would have otherwise bought the Alto/WagonR and like. This is the reason behind the majority of sales being of the lower models and the brand loyalty…[Read more]
In that segment, the cars to go for are the City AT and the Fiesta AT. Oh yes, the Ecosport AT will soon join that list. Reliable, trouble free vehicles, and the best ATs in that price range
Yes… and regarding servicing – you can get it done anywhere in India.
You can visit your nearest authorized service station whichever is convenient.
Yes.. As Shreyans sir has said that City AT and Fiesta AT will be much more reliable than the Skoda Rapid AT
No point going in for diesel with that little running. And the petrol AT will hurt your resale nice and proper. You should seriously consider the Ecoboost. The engine has been on sale in international markets for some time now and there have been no reliability concerns to the best of my knowledge.
if one choose for diesel now what should be the minimum running on per month basis??? and will the ecoboost or the 1.5l or diesel which one will command higher resale value after 3 yrs in delhi ???
Nothing less than 1200km a month. The diesel will certainly have better resale value.
Yes. Diesel cars fetch u a higher resale value compared to the petrol models..
U should run the car at a minimum more than 1000kms/month..
In ur case, u should look out for EcoBoost petrol model
The Good points of owning a Nissan Sunny are:
Excellent space, comfort and good feature list…
Low maintenance and has good looks too…
Good Value-For-Money caaar.. ad has good ride quality and handling too..
Some negative points though:
Rear seat legroom is not at its best..
Nissan’s dealer network is still fairly limited, most cities have just…[Read more]
Small correction: rear legroom is awesome, but the head room is nothing great
Is the Nissan really cheap to maintain? It may be reliable and parts quality may be great but is parts price reasonable at all?
Cant say about clutch and suspension overhauls but regular service costs are much lower than the competition.
Im sorry. its a correction over here..
The Rear Seat Headroom is not so good..
@Shreyans sir. thanks for correcting me
All the models of Verna look the same..except alloy wheels for the top variants..
Sunny is better regarding space, comfort, ride quality and handling too…
its a VFM caaaar
There is no pint taking Verna 1.4 . As Shenoy suggested Sunny is better option in fact best diesel car on the road these days…
Why did you buy tube type tires?
i have a santro xing & i ws told that rim would not support a tubeless tyre…i earlier had a tube type tyre
Quite possible. Old and rusted rims are not suitable for tubeless tires. Make sure you get the balancing dine.
I just checked http://www.changemytyre.com. Bridgestone S322 Tube Type Size: P 155/70R 13 75S was priced Rs. 3400 there. It could be a good idea if you managed to get the WA/WB done from them during tire changes with free of cost. The price (3450) looks a bit on higher side.
