You do not increase GC by playing the tire size. You do so by adding spacers to the rear suspension.

Performance is best in class. Handling Is also good. Certainly better than the Verna, Vento and Sunny. There is no definition of a ‘good’ music system. You can have one for as little as 8-10k. Audiophile grade setups can go into six figures.

With the City, you get the same car mechanically as any other trim and the most important part is that it gets the safety kit of ABS and airbags. The higher trims just get better with convenience oriented features, which you may get as per your taste, budget and time. Regards.

Maintenance costs are among the lowest in class. Problem is, Fiat dealers are few and far between. Resale value is unnecessarily poor. Classic case of perception.

A soft suspension provides a silent and pillowy ride at low speeds. Ideal for city usage. But handling gets compromised and the car bounces around at speed. Also, not good for driving when loaded. A stiff suspension will ensure better handling and a flat ride at speed, along with better manners under load. But the car will throw you around a fair…[Read more]

TODAY DIESEL ENGINES are more complicated, and thus i don’t feel they’re trustworthy,…. any how except loud noise, rest all is same with today’s petrol and diesel engine,…. but your maintenance cost will increase 1 fold ,,,,, thus if opting for diesel, with just 700 km fig. …. sure won’t be problematic, but’ll be hefty on pocket for…[Read more]

Fuel choice is up to you. For such a monthly run, petrol car is advisable but you need to consider the FE factor as well. Honda City is a proven car for decades and one of the best in class mid level petrol sedan, worth buying it. Volkswagen Vento might be pocket pinching while servicing and buying replacement parts. My choice would be City in…[Read more]

Petrol is the way to go…and also in general petrol cars have a more refined engine and the maintainence cost is lower..and diesel cars r expensive by atleast a 1lakh, which u can use for abt 2-2.5 yrs petrol purchase..n your running isnt high so petrol makes more sense.
