requirements :- avg running 1000 km per month and price less than 6 lacs
is BEAT a good buy for me??
what city you are residing in????
DELHI NCR
You do not get a diesel Swift for 6L. Beat and Figo is very simple. Depends on how much space you need.
how is the current market scenario for Chevrolet BEAT? is it dependable as maruti or hyundai? My requirements are only the above specified.Comfort space speed etc are not much my issue. I also want to knw if any problem comes will i have to go to the service centre always as i wont have time to look into. i want to buy and forget the…[Read more]
Not knowing what your specific requirements are, I would say the City is the best of this lot. Followed by the Verna
It would be much easier if you could tell us what you are looking for in a car. If its a long list of features, its the Verna. Honda City is the safest buy in petrol sedans and a very well rounded package. Rapid is the drivers car in these four options. SX4 will have space on the rear bench as well as in the boot and currently has noticeable…[Read more]
If you’re going to take a hammer to it, then it would probably be the Trax ![]()
But if you’re talking in terms of safety, then it’s not got to do with just a strong body. Infact, sometimes it’s better if the body absorbs the impact and crumples than pass it on to the cabin inside. There are a lot of other factors, like airbags, crumple zones, ABS,…[Read more]
The Innova petrol takes pretty well to a CNG kit. Many cabbies use this option – they buy the base petrol variant (cheapest variant) and then add a CNG kit to it. If you add a good sequential CNG kit, it should serve you well.
do you go for offroading if then go for the all terrain otherwise no use of all terrain go for the highway tires..
For regular use, HT tyres would be fine – for highway / city as they have lower rolling resistance. However, if you do encounter bad roads, go for all-terrain tyres, as they have better flex for comfort and a wider tread pattern for grip.
The distance takes 13 to 15 hours depending on the driving speed. Also add the time for which you may stop including tolls, food, nature’s call etc. From what I have heard, the Mumbai – Aurangabad – Nagpur road should be ideal. It would be Mumbai – Ghoti – Sinnar – Aurangabad – Jalna – Mehkar – Karanja – Amravati – Nagpur. The conventional road is…[Read more]

As long as your car is in good condition, regularly serviced, you won’t have any issues with it. Here’s a list of things to check: http://www.cartoq.com/10-quick-weekly-checks-for-your-car/ . As for the route, a friend of mine HV Kumar is a whiz with route planning – here’s a link to his site: http://www.hivayking.in/
First of all, make sure there are no leakages and that the radiator fan is working.
Hi, is the engine over heat lamp glowing or is the comparison based on how much the bonnet felt hot to you on touching it? If its your personal perception of excess heating (by touching the bonnet), its primarily because ambient temperatures are much higher currently than a few months back. This is something that you absolutely need not worry…[Read more]
Amit, it is just personal perception of mine and my uncle… there is no engine overheat lamp glowing… may be I should take this lightly… by the way how can I check whether the radiator fan is working or not… where exactly it would reside… (beginner lol)
If there are no warning lights on the instrument cluster, you may visit a MASS as per your convenience so that they can verify the same and you can be at peace. For the fan, if I am correct it should be on your right and the cars left in the engine bay on opening the bonnet, closer to the headlamp side and away from the passenger cabin. Mostly it…[Read more]
Do not touch the radiator fan when the engine is running. It can switch on and off automatically. How is the AC performance? Cooling is the first thing that deteriorates if the engine overheats. If the cooling is fine and if the lamps and gauges are showing everything is normal, no need to worry.
Checking if the radiator fan is working is an easy process. Drive the car for a bit, till it has warmed up. Then stop, open the bonnet and start the engine. The Alto has an electric fan – after 2 minutes of running with the engine warm, the fan should start (you can see it and hear it as there’s a loud hum). If this fan does not work, your car…[Read more]
Its a lot bouncier as it gets into the three digit territory, so in real life it just won’t be able to stay with the Figo. You may safely ignore any paper comparisons of power, torque, power to weight ratio etc since they will look nice only on paper. Regards.
Figo diesel is much better compared to quanto
Its slower. And a lot scarier to drive.
figo is best option otherwise go for ecosport ….
the top speed of quanto is nothing more than 149 kmph..and figo can go more than 160
Figo all the way
thank u.
why any one should compare these two vehicles. as both belongs o different territory….
The Figo would be a lot faster and safer at speed as well than the Quanto!
