if u looking for fun to drive and economical go for swift vxi as i am getting 17kmpl . bt if for space then go for i20 sports and punto dynamic . both are great cars
It is Maruti Swift ZDi which can be called as VFM here .. it is equipped wid 1.3L FIAT multijet engine which is powerful & fuel-fficient, offers good level of drivability & handling, gud amnt of features n above all maruti’s reliability & A.S.S….. Regards
I’ll say i20. It has a lot more space and feels more premium inside out. Build quality is better. As for the Swift, Maruti’s ASS and maintenance advantage is history now. Service costs for the Swift is just as high as the i20.
Go for petrol joginder paaji !
thanks alot…
ERA is the base variant & u miss many features… prefer magna variant if u need more features like rear p/w, tiltable steering wheel, rear defogger, music system n etc, it is worth if u spend an extra 30K for magna variant…. Regards
Limit your choice to the CRV and the Outlander. These two ATs are head and shoulders above the others for 25L
Thanks…….
if Diesel is not a priority (it shoudn’t be now) go in with Shreyans choices. The new CRV has excellent interiors while Outlander can oomph your style quotient effortlessly.
Clutch replacement depends on the usage, if the user does not use half clutch or clutch slippage a lot then it will last more. On the other hand, someone with the habit of always using the half clutch or using clutch slippage for revving the engine while in gear will burn the clutch faster. That said, the expense will depend on the vehicle and…[Read more]
A Scorpio clutch can last a good lakh km or so. Genuine replacement costs about 7k in the market and about 15k from Mahindra. Hydraulic clutches cost a lot more to replace than cable operated clutches.
I would ask you to consider the Polo GT Tsi, its a notch above in almost everything than the options mentioned by you, including the price which may be just in your budget. Regards.
I will ask you to keep away from the Polo TSi because of the concerns regarding gearbox reliability. You should consider the Ford Fiesta Style AT. It runs good discounts and fits under 10 in most cities. Most silent and refined, an a hugely accomplished AT
I like both the answers above, Polo GT might look attractive but Fiesta AT is a better bet. The automatic transmission on fiesta is atleast 2 segments above and performs much better. If you don’t want a Fiesta you can wait for Ecosport (I can see that on your option of choices)
Swift VDi for better interior space and comfort..features and price..
Polo comfortline for better boot space, looks….
The Swift L and V models get a ‘do not buy’ rating from me for their unacceptably weak brakes.
I always recommend people to go for the top end variants for the sake of the safety kit, in which case I would ask you to raise the budget else look at the Ritz / Figo / Vista. Regards.
Completely agree with others here. When you are buying something for yourself and for your family by spending Lakhs of Rupees, why to ignore basic safety option and compromise with life-saving features like – ABS, EBD, BA, Air-bags, etc.
and all these so called life saving feature fail when there is actual need!!!! mainly airbags!!!
Hyundai Verna is loaded with Features.. it has good mix of cabin space, boot space and good comfort for 4…
Hyundai has excellent After-Sales-Service and resale value and maintenance is also good…
Though it doesn’t have the best suspension and handling is a curse when speeding on highways…
Rapid is a drivers’ car..it has good driving…[Read more]
In my opinion, it depends on what you need out of the car. Shenoy has put out the pros and cons of both in brief. So if you want a feature loaded car for the sedate driver, its the Verna but if you are not willing to sacrifice on the driving dynamics and the stronger body shell then you would be better off with the Rapid. There is no car which…[Read more]
is service and resale of rapid are much more costlier than verna and resale very less …??
i want to ii say that will it differ large than the verna or little bit …..?? affoedable
There is a difference of a good 90k. What does the i20 offer for that extra money? Not much. I will suggest that you go for the LS model of the Sail UVA, which is better VFM than the bare bones PS. It will still undercut the i20 Era.
I am an i20 lover..but in ur case..the Sail U-Va makes more sense..
As the Era model doesn’t offer good features at a high price
