The i20 is the better car but the Dzire will be cheaper to maintain if you are buying diesel
Maruti’s cheaper maintenance has more or less become history. Service costs are now very similar bw the Swift/Dzire, i20 and even the Polo. i20 has more space, better build quality and feels premium. And it has perhaps the most comfortable front seats of all hatchbacks.
In that segment, the cars to go for are the City AT and the Fiesta AT. Oh yes, the Ecosport AT will soon join that list. Reliable, trouble free vehicles, and the best ATs in that price range
Yes… and regarding servicing – you can get it done anywhere in India.
You can visit your nearest authorized service station whichever is convenient.
No point going in for diesel with that little running. And the petrol AT will hurt your resale nice and proper. You should seriously consider the Ecoboost. The engine has been on sale in international markets for some time now and there have been no reliability concerns to the best of my knowledge.
The Good points of owning a Nissan Sunny are:
Excellent space, comfort and good feature list…
Low maintenance and has good looks too…
Good Value-For-Money caaar.. ad has good ride quality and handling too..
Some negative points though:
Rear seat legroom is not at its best..
Nissan’s dealer network is still fairly limited, most cities have just…[Read more]
Small correction: rear legroom is awesome, but the head room is nothing great
Is the Nissan really cheap to maintain? It may be reliable and parts quality may be great but is parts price reasonable at all?
Cant say about clutch and suspension overhauls but regular service costs are much lower than the competition.
All the models of Verna look the same..except alloy wheels for the top variants..
Sunny is better regarding space, comfort, ride quality and handling too…
its a VFM caaaar
There is no pint taking Verna 1.4 . As Shenoy suggested Sunny is better option in fact best diesel car on the road these days…
Why did you buy tube type tires?
i have a santro xing & i ws told that rim would not support a tubeless tyre…i earlier had a tube type tyre
Quite possible. Old and rusted rims are not suitable for tubeless tires. Make sure you get the balancing dine.
I just checked http://www.changemytyre.com. Bridgestone S322 Tube Type Size: P 155/70R 13 75S was priced Rs. 3400 there. It could be a good idea if you managed to get the WA/WB done from them during tire changes with free of cost. The price (3450) looks a bit on higher side.
if u looking for fun to drive and economical go for swift vxi as i am getting 17kmpl . bt if for space then go for i20 sports and punto dynamic . both are great cars
Plenty of options. You have the top end Ritz petrol. Nissan Micra is a very compelling package. And the Brio is an all time favourite.
