Limit your choice to the CRV and the Outlander. These two ATs are head and shoulders above the others for 25L
Thanks…….
Clutch replacement depends on the usage, if the user does not use half clutch or clutch slippage a lot then it will last more. On the other hand, someone with the habit of always using the half clutch or using clutch slippage for revving the engine while in gear will burn the clutch faster. That said, the expense will depend on the vehicle and…[Read more]
A Scorpio clutch can last a good lakh km or so. Genuine replacement costs about 7k in the market and about 15k from Mahindra. Hydraulic clutches cost a lot more to replace than cable operated clutches.
I would ask you to consider the Polo GT Tsi, its a notch above in almost everything than the options mentioned by you, including the price which may be just in your budget. Regards.
I will ask you to keep away from the Polo TSi because of the concerns regarding gearbox reliability. You should consider the Ford Fiesta Style AT. It runs good discounts and fits under 10 in most cities. Most silent and refined, an a hugely accomplished AT
Swift VDi for better interior space and comfort..features and price..
Polo comfortline for better boot space, looks….
The Swift L and V models get a ‘do not buy’ rating from me for their unacceptably weak brakes.
I always recommend people to go for the top end variants for the sake of the safety kit, in which case I would ask you to raise the budget else look at the Ritz / Figo / Vista. Regards.
Completely agree with others here. When you are buying something for yourself and for your family by spending Lakhs of Rupees, why to ignore basic safety option and compromise with life-saving features like – ABS, EBD, BA, Air-bags, etc.
Hyundai Verna is loaded with Features.. it has good mix of cabin space, boot space and good comfort for 4…
Hyundai has excellent After-Sales-Service and resale value and maintenance is also good…
Though it doesn’t have the best suspension and handling is a curse when speeding on highways…
Rapid is a drivers’ car..it has good driving…[Read more]
In my opinion, it depends on what you need out of the car. Shenoy has put out the pros and cons of both in brief. So if you want a feature loaded car for the sedate driver, its the Verna but if you are not willing to sacrifice on the driving dynamics and the stronger body shell then you would be better off with the Rapid. There is no car which…[Read more]
There is a difference of a good 90k. What does the i20 offer for that extra money? Not much. I will suggest that you go for the LS model of the Sail UVA, which is better VFM than the bare bones PS. It will still undercut the i20 Era.
I am an i20 lover..but in ur case..the Sail U-Va makes more sense..
As the Era model doesn’t offer good features at a high price
I use and recommend Osram. Philips NIghtbreakers have always got good reviews. Such bulbs are available at accessory shops as well as battery stores. Note that such installations will compromise the warranty.
i think these r the situations where airbags and other safety features come into play and decide between life and other risks.
Safety should always come first..
Swift has faulty brakes in its lower models creating problem while braking at high speeds…
The top end variants of cars should always be preferred because they have safety features such as ABS + EBD and Airbags….
These are the features which come into play and decide between life and other risks as said by…[Read more]
The Swift has woefully weak brakes and is badly undertired. All current and prospective owners should know this. You need to understand how the tire works. 99% hatchbacks use S or T rated tires, which are safe for upto 180kph max under std test conditions. Which means during actual driving, anything more than 140kmph in stock tires borders on…[Read more]
Hi, just adding some things here. I have survived such a situation, kindly do not ask the speed. Here is the post – http://www.teamfiat.co.in/street-travel-experience/9059-fiat%92s-exceptional-car-service-rsa.html There is a video link in the post, do take a look at it for some understanding of what happens and what to ideally do in such a…[Read more]
