The US version of the Santa Fe has a 3.8 liter V6 option – and someone has given it some massive muscle via a twin turbo kit that runs Turbonetics TNX 30/56 Turbos. Extras are a custom RWD that features a Hyundai Equus rear differential and a 6-speed transmission from Genesis R-spec.

The car is developed for the 2016 SEMA show by a collaboration between Hyundai and tuner Bisimoto. Bisimoto is well-renowned for awe-inspiring street, show and race vehicles.

“Bisimoto takes pleasure in making any vehicle fun to drive, even a larger SUV,” said ‘Bisi Ezerioha, owner of Bisimoto. “Our Santa-Fast SUV is a proof-of-concept vehicle with driving capabilities that our customers can count on every day they turn the key.” The Bisimoto team worked exhaustingly on the custom rear-drive and six-speed manual transmission conversions to achieve an OEM-like appearance and function. Full boost for the powertrain is 39 psi, and a boost-per-gear protocol is used to allow for optimal traction.
