Hyundai India is planning to offer a 4-speed automatic transmission in lower variants of the Verna diesel. At present, the Verna diesel automatic is available only on the top-end SX (O) variant that is priced at Rs. 11.26 lakh, which is Rs. 73,000 more than the Verna diesel manual SX (O) variant.

The possibilities of a car that runs on compressed air in India are very real. Tata Motors has announced that it has successfully completed testing two cars that run on compressed air. The compressed air engine that was developed by MDI (Motor Development International) of Luxembourg has been fitted in two Tata vehicles, which we strongly believe  are a Nano and a Tata Magic Iris.
