The rear has not been touched, and it stays identical to the last model. With minor changes, the EcoSport manages to look fresh on the block. However, the major changes have happened on the inside of the vehicle.
The EcoSport now gets a larger 8-inch (6.5-inch for the lower variants) floating type infotainment system. It AC controls now similar to the Ford Figo, and the dashboard has been updated to provide an all-black theme

However, Ford may launch the EcoBoost turbo petrol motor in future. The current petrol engine is mated to a 5-speed manual or the 6-speed automatic.
The diesel engine option is the same old 1.5-litre unit that develops 99 Bhp – 205 Nm. It is only offered with a 5-speed manual transmission. Ford is offering dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, all four power windows as standard across all the variants. Ford has already started taking bookings for the new EcoSport through Amazon.in.
