chevrolet sail can take a lead if priced competitively
is it conform that upgrade cruze is launching in june 2012?
The Sail is expected in May 2012. Not sure whether the hatchback or the sedan version will hit the market. This is because, the company unveiled the hatchback in the Auto Expo but the sedan has been caught frequently while testing :S

The Toyota Etios is a frugal sedan with good legroom for all passengers. It is definitely a car you can buy. However if you can wait the Sail Sedan will likely have better interiors and looks. Better to go for Toyota Etios because, based on what we have seen in spy photos, the Chevrolet Sail sedan may not be offering anything exclusive or attractive as it will most likely be concentrating on budget-conscious buyers and hence minimal features only. Besides, the Sail diesel version may take more time to hit the market.

The Etios diesel is great on mileage and space. However, you won’t get much by way of features and refinement (you may hear some engine noise and road noise filter into the car). Another car to consider is the Nissan Sunny diesel – for space and mileage and good ride comfort.

Sunny diesel I think is slightly more expensive than the Etios diesel, around 60k or so. Sail would most probably have better interiors than the Etios, and better sound insulation too.
