Should I buy the Etios diesel or shall I wait for the Chevrolet Sail? We are looking for a diesel sedan for the family which is good for highway driving. Also when will the Chevroltet Sail sedan be launched? ...

    • The Toyota Etios is a frugal sedan with good legroom for all passengers. It is definitely a car you can buy. However if you can wait the Sail Sedan will likely have better interiors and looks. It will be launched only in August or later. Read more here: http://www.cartoq.com/chevrolet-sail-sedan-spy-photos/

    • Better to go for Toyota Etios because, based on what we have seen in spy photos, the Chevrolet Sail sedan may not be offering anything exclusive or attractive as it will most likely be concentrating on budget-conscious buyers and hence minimal features only. Besides, the Sail diesel version may take more time to hit the market.

    • The Etios diesel is great on mileage and space. However, you won’t get much by way of features and refinement (you may hear some engine noise and road noise filter into the car). Another car to consider is the Nissan Sunny diesel – for space and mileage and good ride comfort.

First, you need to test drive the Etios diesel to see if the interiors and driving comfort is OK with you – if it is fine, then no need to wait! Also, why aren’t…[Read more]

    • The Sail is expected in May 2012. Not sure whether the hatchback or the sedan version will hit the market. This is because, the company unveiled the hatchback in the Auto Expo but the sedan has been caught frequently while testing :S
