Many of the JVC and Pioneer models have connectors that integrate with the steering audio controls. Are you satisfied with the headlamps? That’s another thing that can be upgraded
City for driving pleasure. Verna for features and more comfort. verna’s rear seat is not liked by some people, so you have to test it out for yourself. Some do not think the City has enough ground clearance. Again, this is depending on driving style, so you have to test this and see.

The Maruti Swift ZDI will work out cheaper in the long-term even for a relatively small running distance of 800 km, since you anyway intend to keep it for a while. Maintenance costs are indeed lower for Maruti.
Maruti’s service cost will be lower, but these days all manufacturer’s are very competitive. Since the City’s quality and finesse makes it much more desirable, I don’t think you would mind a shelling out a little extra for it
how can we compare the resale value of swift zdi vs honda city 2012 in the long run? Isn’t diesel deregulation on the cards?
There is only a proposal to implement “partial decontrol” of diesel prices. This means the government may be willing to allow diesel prices to fluctuate within a band, but won’t let it go above a certain limit. This way the subsidy burden can be reduced. Even if diesel is deregulated, it wont make much difference in the resale value of the swift. And personally i dont think total subsidy on disel will be removed, there can be a partial subsidy removal. Secondly suzuki cars are far more easy to maintain and spare parts are cheap but that is not the case with Honda.
