This seems to be a very biased article, where is the Chevrolet Beat, why is it not in this list when it clearly costs below 6 lakhs. It’s like you’ll have been paid to keep competition out.

Similarly Indica Vista is mising from the list.The features with comfort and safety that car provides is amazing and in this budget you can get a decent diesel option as well.

Guys this is based on sales and dependability, so cars like the Beat, Vista, Spark and Brio wren’t included 
The cars in this list are the best selling and are easy to maintain.

If you want to go for a good-looking, freshly prepared Hyundai material, then Eon is the car for you but its somewhat noisy and has high level of vibrations owing to its 3-cylinder engine. Agree with Vivek. Eon has some transmission vibrations and engine has a rough edge at high rpm. The Santro is much smoother. I would suggest the Santro since even though it is old and dated when it comes to looks and the features it offers (next to none), it is still a very reliable car. It drives and handles very well. go for polo if u can maintain it otherwise go for etios. vw is costly as compared to features and engine option.main concern should be ground clearence. on paper its ok but in pratical your car will be touched almost every time if u dont slow it down rather i should say almost stop it….

If you want a spacious car with decent performance, high mileage, low maintenance costs and reliability, go for the Liva. If you want a car with solid built quality especially on the interiors, great fit & finish and comfortable seats, go for the Polo.

the polo is definitely more expensive to buy and maintain, but is an extremely good car. the quality, looks, interior fit and finish and material quality is a lot better than liva. the engine also is more powerful. plus image of the polo is much better. but the liva is quite spacious, easier to drive and much more practical in terms of costs and…[Read more]
