Confused among Mahindra Thar CRde and Maruti Gypsy King, which one to buy? ...

    11 hours, 35 minutes ago

    • The Gypsy’s light weight makes it better in the sand as it does not sink so easily. Otherwise, the Thar with its strong engine and power steering is a more rounded vehicle and has the economy of the diesel too. And that it looks absolutely smashing with a bull bar, fog lamps and XXXL size alloys and tires seals it for me.

    • Puneet, take a look at this comparison of both vehicles we did sometime back. http://www.cartoq.com/expertvoice/the-better-off-roader-mahindra-thar-or-maruti-gypsy-king/ The new Thar has AC too though.

    • I would go with the Thar. Simple advantages – robust diesel engine, power steering, AC and much better torque for off-road use.

    • The Thar now comes with AC and a hardtop (Optional), that makes it more sensible. Especially when it comes to fuel economy!

    • Thar Di is a good car for extreme off-roading stuff than the CRDe version so CRDe will be good if you take the jeep for everyday use and an highway performer.Thar is more a looker than San storm.

    • @Babychen: Yes I have seen it, but the only reason to consider it was the covertible look, and the price diffrence. I know it is too shoddy, but I have been looking all over delhi at MR2`s,Sera`s,ect and mostl of them are in almost pathetic condition, so I thought better a shoddy new one than a shoddy 15 year old(?) … :D :D Though I find it too…[Read more]
