Normally CNG should take away some performance. 10-20% I would guess. But one owner told me there is no noticeable power difference between petrol CNG at all. Maybe he is an easy relaxed driver, and a more performance oriented driver will feel the difference. I guess the only way to be sure is to take a test ride.
Performance does drop a bit on gas but the difference is noticeable only at highway speeds or when the car is fully loaded and the AC is on too. City driving on gas is almost as good as on petrol. In fact, a sedate driver will not feel a thing and achieve stupendous economy figures too.
Thx , I have been driving Hyundai Accent on CNG for last 5 years. There is no change in my car atleast. I have driven on highway @ 140 KMS. I am extremely satisfied with my CNG car. NOw i want to change my car so i thought Maruti SX4 is only option. I booked Ertiga ZDI but they asking for 10 months to deliver the car . I am not ready to wait so long??
SX4 CNG should do the job for you, take a test drive and see. Ertiga is facing high demand so maybe it wont be 10 months but still.. 6-8 months is likely.
Thx , Even i was also surprised on such a long waiting period but truth i hv regret letter from DD Motors…
There is no way a Maruti diesel car can be had without waiting for ages unless you do not have some underhand jugaad. This really kills the joy and excitement of buying a new car. Go ahead with the SX4. It will serve you well.
i think maruti suzuki sld discontinues sum of there worst cars from indian market like zen estilo and A-star which r not selling well in india.
No news on this as of now. It will be interesting to watch this month’s sales numbers for the SX4 though as I suspect sales have fallen.
OK.but don’t you think sir it’s interiors are bit outdated compare to Swift’s.
Yes, the SX4′s dash is a bit dated. It can do with a new instrument panel and multi-info display like the Swift/Ertiga.
nice compilation
