• I am planning to buy New Ertiga but should i buy it or wait for Chevy Enjoy or Nissan Evalia?? ...

    • The Chevy Enjoy and Nissan Evalia are much bigger than the Ertiga. The Ertiga is essentially a car with MPV characteristics. It feels exactly like the Swift to drive and handles like a car. The Evalia is essentially a van, which will compete directly with Innova, and the Enjoy too will be more of a Xylo competitor, although slightly smaller.…[Read more]

    • The question really is, is the Ertiga’s space enough for you. It is smaller than Evalia and Enjoy. Think about it as a large car with two additional seats. Others will have, overall, more space. If most of the time you have only 5 people in the car, and rarely you will have additional two people, then Ertiga is a good buy. You have Maruti…[Read more]

    • I agree with Mathew. If you can live with the space the Ertiga offers, go ahead. It should be a better vehicle to drive and significantly more fuel efficient than the Evalia, Enjoy and even the good old Innova

    • Take a test drive, get a feel for the car and see if the space inside suits you. It’ll be much more like a car compared to the Evalia and Enjoy.

  • The 2012 will be a good year for potential large family buyers looking for reliable and ‘value for money’ MPVs. At the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo many MPVs such as the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, Nissan NV200 and the Chevrolet Enjoy (MPV concept) were displayed. Here is a comprehensive list of MPVs that you can buy this year. ...

  • Prathik Reddy asks…

Why do manufacturers introduce good cars with under-powered engines? Standard motor products did it with the standard 2000 in the late eighties, Fiat did it with the 1litre fire engine on the UNO, Ford with the Escort in the late nineties. Very recently the Altis diesel and the Renault Fluence too have done the same. These automobile companies never seem to learn a lesson. I wonder why they first introduce a brilliant product with a below par and severely under powered engine (altis, fluence ...

    • well most of altis and fluence are aimed as chauffeur driven cars so hence reliability &comfort is the issue not the torque or bhp.

    • only the money.. will give run to Xylo, but looks, style, space, boot space, leg room, hieght, engine, speed and power in all aspects the Xylo is better than the Evalia, actually Nissan’s engine is uncomparable but still looking at other features Xylo will win the race

    • Its got everything going ‘against’ it! Boring design, not so widespread service network and not country friendly design. I feel the sliding doors wont work too long here. One bang at the rear and the sliding track will go for a toss. And its ugly to boot. At least a hot design would have helped users overlook the lack of enough service…[Read more]
