Alto has better acceleration and top-end performance. Its engine is less noisy when compared to the Nano. Besides, its 30,000 plus sales every month shows how reliable Alto is. Nano is good for crowded cities and where there’s plenty of traffic. It has a small turning radius and parking is easy. It’s also surprisingly spacious for four people. Good as a city car only.
You should go for the Maruti Suzuki Alto.
We checked with Maruti, they have no plans for the cervo. They have a small car to replace the 800 with planned, but its a new car, not Cervo.
Maruti showcased some future cars it is thinking about for the Indian market at the Auto Expo. These included Pallete and MR Wagon, but not the Cervo.

They succeeded in building such a small and light weight version of passenger cars. Having trouble with their ignition systems. Electric version could be easy to make on this platform. Will make a very powerful transformation of Everyday-City-Commuter population

Domestic charging is possible only for those with houses. In the metros, most live in flats and getting a power point to charge the car will be difficult.
