Peter Chacko is known for doing up Skodas like nobody else in India. The Kochi based custom car builder drives a Skoda Laura Diesel, made to look like a vRS. Under the hood, power and torque has been bumped up significantly on the 2 liter TDI turbo diesel engine, which now makes 180 Bhp. A remap and Milltek exhaust are the two ways by which the power bump up has been achieved.

The car, a Laura L&K under the skin, runs a 6 speed twin clutch DSG automatic gearbox. The suspension gets Bilstein B16 coilovers and uprated H&R anti-roll bars. The brakes are boosted Tarox items. Wearing Borbet XL 17 rims and Yokohama Advan Sport tyres, this Laura is an elegant daily driver.

Driven Delhi has come up with a custom job on the Skoda Rapid sedan, which happens to the Czech brand’s least priced car for India. Lovely looking matte gold finish alloy wheels is the first thing you’ll notice about this car, which also features a blacked out grille insert and projector equipped smoked headlamps with projectors. The glossy red paint job and contrast black items on the car make it quite a looker. An exercise in minimalism, this Skoda Rapid Custom is easily one of the best looking Rapids in the country.

All these additions improve acceleration, and the car does the 0-100 Kph sprint in just 7.18 seconds. The The improvement in acceleration is carried on to the 100-140 Kph roll-on figures, which are a full 5 seconds faster than stock.
