Mahindra TUV300 goes dual-tone

Mahindra’s Tough Utility Vehicle or TUV300 will now get dual-tone colour options. The dual tone colour scheme will be only available in multiple combinations, starting with silver body with black roof and blackened side pillars. Even the front and rear bumpers get the dual tone scheme. Customers can opt for other combination through optional black or white roof decal option.

The special colour will be only available with the top-of-the-line T8 variants that is powered by the mHawk100 engine and manual gearbox. The special colour scheme will cost Rs. 15,000 extra from the regular set-up and he price is set at Rs. 9.15 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The new dual colour scheme has been chosen to add more style quotient to the TUV300 and increase its road presence among the urban buyers. The Mahindra dealerships across India are already modifying the colour schemes of the car to offer Red – Black and Blue – Black colour schemes to the customers at an additional cost. The official introduction of the dual tone colour may attract more buyers during the festive season.

Announcing the launch of this new dual tone TUV300, Vivek Nayer, Chief Marketing Officer, Automotive Division, Mahindra and Mahindra, said, “The launch of the new silver & black dual tone TUV300 will build on its aspiration quotient by dialling up on style and exclusivity, and thus further enhance the brand’s appeal. We are confident that this new colour scheme will soon become very popular among our discerning customers and fans.”

Apart from the dual tone colour, the Mahindra TUV300 is also available in 7 different shades, namely Verve Blue, Dynamite Red, Molten Orange, Glacier White, Majestic Silver, and Bold Black. The company also introduced made-to-order unique Bronze Green colour during the Independence Day.

The Silver-Black dual tone option will only come powered by the 1.5-litre diesel engine that generates a maximum of 100 BHP and 240 Nm and is offered with either 5-speed manual or AMT unit. Mahindra also has a lower tuned 84 BHP with manual and 81 BHP with AMT engine options with the TUV300.
