The DZire has rounded edges and gets a new grille up front with heavy chrome. There are projector headlamps with DRLs and LED brake lamps too. The car gets 15-inch precision cut alloy wheels and a lower ground clearance of 163mm.

The new DZire is also lighter by up to 150 kg. It has become wider by 20mm offering more shoulder room to the passengers. The new DZire also gets a bigger 376-litre of boot space. The wheelbase also increases in the new DZire and it now offers 50mm more knee room.

The engine options will remain the same. There will be 1.2-litre petrol and 1.3-litre diesel engine options. Both the engines will get AMT as an option. The DZire will also perform better and will have higher fuel efficiency, thanks to the lower weight of the vehicle.
