Evry 1s 1st choice is swift than i20. . Than u cn think about punto nd vista . . Vw ll be prefred if they use a 4 cyl engine instead of 3 cyl. .

I say try the i20 too since you are considering a premium hatch……VW is nothing to write home about (barring the build quality which is far superior to marutis’)…it is a good brand and that is it! Dealer network is still small and finding a qualified mechanic in case of a breakdown is difficult…I personally am not a fan of the Swift…but…[Read more]

Swift is the fully loaded car at a cheap cost with amezing features the ground cleareance of this car is higher than other cars because in india there is a need of higher ground clearence to the car.…[Read more]

I don’t think shelling 8 lakhs (at least in Bangalore) for a Maruti hatch is worth it. As most of the people suggested pls take a look at I20 Asta CRDI. If you are looking for Polo and 3 cylinders are fine, please take a look at Fabia TDI which has the same engine. I was blown away when I took the test drive and their mid and high variants are…[Read more]

Go for swift only polo engine sounds like mini tractor. I know polo is a good car good engg very soft stearing. But swift is more comfortable than polo polo is very tight in the rear seat spares r too costly of polo .milage is less than swift. So i suggest u swift or ford figo if u like the ford brand figo is more comfortable than swift

They have ATs in other models, but in this Rs 5 lakh market, there is not much demand I think.

Babychen, I do know that, but with all due respects to Honda (Brio), they have not been able to get their design, price & value for money right to compete in the indian market.. if they were any closer to realities, they should have not lost their race to swift/i10 in the small segment or to verna/corolla in the sedan class.. i wish the honda…[Read more]

What r u sayin? I had been waiting for brio.. Honda is best for petrol cars.. And brio even has the i-vtec engine.. And its launched just for 4lacs..

Neha Chaudhary , i was waiting for brio too… but they have killed the rear looks of it.. i wish they had come up with some better looking design.. they shud have done well… on-road price wont be any lesser than 4.7 for the base version… not worth the price

Abhishek Singh i agree its costly..but dunno like it still.. i hv seen all cars- figo (diesel), beat ( diesel) and hyundai eon sound nice to me.. but thn hyundai engines r old.. not so tech upgraded.. atleast u cn vouch for after sales service and ensure a good run – for your money!

Neha Chaudhary figo comes with a 3 yr free service or 1lac kms.. what more can u ask for.. beat is an extremely under powered car… hyundai personally i hate though they have been giving value for money and performance… my choice would be between a honda / toyota / nissan.. so since they have failed to impress me with brio, i would prefer…[Read more]
