2012 Toyota Camry to launch early 2012

Toyota will soon launch the face-lifted avatar of its Camry luxury sedan. The car will look very different from the Camry we know and has the potential to rope in many more buyers for Toyota. The car will likely be launched in India early next year (2012) and will compete primarily with the Honda Accord.

Camry is known to be a chauffered-in car… if this gets a diesel mill, it’ll eat up C-Class and Accord without sweat…and if the handling becomes more sporty , then Superb and Passat… BEWARE!

        Wht about the Diesel head?
At least get it frm Innova, if you don’t have time to do R&D…
It surely have the potentials to become a leader in its class.

It would make a lot of sense for Toyota launch the Camry with a diesel option 1st as even the most premium car buyers like the Merc & Beemerare going in for the diesel versions with the prices of petrol going through the roof and burning a hole in the pockets of these people too.

Need a SUV/MUV within Rs. 14 lakh. Which is better; Toyota Innova or Mahindra XUV5oo? My main priority is brand reliability, quality, cabin comfort and safety while looks are secondary. Seating capacity less than 5 people is also fine as we'll hardly be using the last row in real terms. Advice please?

Well if you need more of comfort than styling better to go with Innova, reliable, comfort, best quality and decent engine, but if need a real SUV to spin around XUV is awesome for more features and at reasonable price, better for Innova

You shd give the Tata Safari a thought too. Its better than the Innova or the XUV. Tho’ the XUV has killer looks the Safari has an awesome feel. It really makes u feel u r in a Main Battle Tank.

If you reside in non-Euro 4 city, you can get Euro 3,its basic purpose is to reduce pollution levels, well if you live in metros, you have to get euro-4 emission ed vehicle. And be sure euro-4 will have more resale value than the preceeding one

Yes its the Engine from Sonalika(you got it right from the tractor company). But Rhino did well only for its engine performance,so Tavera will bang again in the CAB market

Guys, but you’d get 2 Taveras for the price of one of th two you are speaking about. Give that a thought too. Not every one would afford an Innova or an XUV 5oo.

Guys, never heard any one go gaga over the Tata Aria which is much better than the XUV500 in terms of interior quality, tech specs etc and at the same price for the 2WD just as the XUV500 is. Why are we so against the TATA brand when they give the BEST value for money?

The sub-10 lakh SUV will help Skoda to set a strong foot hold in the booming SUV market. There are lot of chances that the upcoming Skoda small SUV to be powered by a diesel motor owing to the steep rise in petrol prices, but not like Skoda Yeti model some cosmetic changes are must.

The Yeti itself is small in comparison to many of the other Indian SUV’s or SUV’s available in India. Would the small price tag make the SUV even smaller than the Yeti? Pray not.
