Does the Skoda Rapid diesel stand a chance against the Hyundai Verna diesel?

The Hyundai Verna is the current sales leader among sedans in the Rs. 7 lakh to Rs. 10 lakh category and for good reason. The car offers fantastic value for money as most variants of the Verna are loaded with features and are good performers too. Obviously, the diesel variants are most-wanted, with frequent petrol price hikes in the last few months. Here, we compare the diesel variants of both Rap

HYUNDAI UNDOUBTEDLY SERVES THE BEST IN IT’S HATCHBACK CLASS BUT NOT IN IT’S SEDAN CLASS. SCODA RULES IN IT’S SEDAN CLASS FOR THE CLASS NOT FOR THE MASS..

rapid is nearly 1.5lakhs cheaper than verna. Being powerful engine, verna’s handling is not good enough for highways(so no use of that xtra power). Its only feature rich car. While rapid cud not hv features but germans never dissapoint in terms of ride &handling nor in performance. So imo rapid wud b a value for money car.

With a budget of Rs 5.5 lakh to Rs 6 lakh, which is better buy: Liva or Jazz?

Honda Jazz, with its revised price starting from Rs. 5.5 lakh to Rs. 6.06 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), is posing tough competition to hatchbacks in this price range, such as the segment leader Maruti Swift, the Volkswagen Polo, and the new kid in the block, the Toyota Liva.

@Niranjan true about the Drivability of the Micra, but a person buying a car should consider all the aspects like mileage, engine performance,A.S.S,which makes a good and reliable car like swift,so do not draw conclusions on just test driving:)

full option anytime… Figo… but if u want a higher car, fabia is a classy car and swift is a powerful car… fabia has better build, ride, tyres and handling…. aurbags even on base variant…. new swift Vdi has good powerful engine, refinement, mileage but lacks feautres which is present only in fully loaded zdi…..

you have to FIG(O)ure it out yourself! FABialous cars aren’t that SWIFT!

i recommend Swift for – driving pleasure, high resale, low maintenance! (all new model launching tomrw).
Fabia- for good quality interios and feel good factor!
Figo- exellent value for money, good boot space.
