Look at the Skoda Rapid. It is a no nonsense car, made and sold at the right price. Should tick most boxes for you.
Sunny XL is an option too, if space is a priority for you. Rapid, otherwise.
try rapid though it will cost you a lil more
swift VDI will be perfect for you
abhi, thanks for ur suggestion, but, swift interiors aren’t cramped?
The Figo Titanium Plus diesel would fit comfortably in your budget and meet most of your priorities. The Vista LX also is a good choice.
well if space is such a issue go for I20 u will love it.
punto active for 6.48 lakhs followed by vista VX(with ABS and superb audio player with bluetooth) for 6.52lakhs, then swift vdi(no ABS) for 6.9 lakhs or vista LX for 6.02 lakhs. go for VISTA. ultimate car under ur budget and loaded wit lots of features and safety.
swift vdi is the best for all your dreams but not only the dreams but it gives lot more satisfaction the worth of money you bought it for.its big++++++++ is milege and maintance cost of the super car
go fr vw polo comfortline model… amazing space, amazing interior quality.. amazing mileage(20+)… good body… maintainence after every 15000 kms(even the first one)… 12 yr body warranty… amazing ride quality…
go for the Ford Figo ,for your budget and your requirements, !!! or the tata indica vista Figo has good space and the vista has a bit more in it !! both the vehicles are usually hastle free , though figo scores on that aspect. happy chosing
wtevr evrybdy saying here…….if there is no w8ing swift vdi is 1st preferance of evr 1 …. sm 1 talking abt interiors ….swift got decent interiors…..u wana go long run go blindly for swift ……but w8ing is still there
go for Fiat Grande Punto Solid Built, Heavy Doors, Solid side pillars, Best in class driving control, Most safe car, its quite roomy and solid suspension, superior and refined engine …
it depends wat ur looking for in a car….. if you want a good resale,n cheap service then go for the swift, the ritz is good but it gets kinda cramped for a large person… the figo is a good buy, but lacks power n the topend doesnt cm wid pwr windows at the back(no idea why)… i dont trust tatas or fiats coz ive had horrible experiences wid…[Read more]
punto/vento/figo den vista
grande punto dynamic > i20 magna > swift vdi > vista
Let me try to find out about this….
You can get an Autocop parking sensor system installed (Rs 5,500). As long and the person who installs it does not cut any wires and uses direct connectors to the existing wiring (it requires one connection to the reverse lamps and one to a power source), it won’t void the warranty. The reason the dealer will suggest it that you do it at their…[Read more]
The jack of all trades car here is the SX4. It ticks all the boxes to quite some extent and beats the others hands down when it comes to ASS, both in terms of costs and service network spread. However no modern diesel needs much of a nip and tuck too often. That being said, the most competent car in my book is the Vento’s cousin, the Skoda Rapid.…[Read more]
Pick the Rapid or the Vento depending on what strikes the chord right with you. Both of them tick all the boxes that you have mentioned except maintenance cost which is slightly on the higher side but not something that will have you worrying.
first u tell which engine u need…petrol or diesel?
Prakhar, for a daily running of 30 kms, a diesel car doesn’t make economic sense. Now, coming to the car recommended, I d recommend the Swift Dzire Automatic. It is a no nonsense city car with Maruti’s service network as an added advantage.
Also check out Fiesta Classic. It is a full-sized car, and the petrol variants will come in that budget.
ok, 50 KM driving daily.
50 km driving daily usually means its better to buy a diesel car. especially if you are buying on EMI. Cash down too, diesel is better at 50 km daily. Fiesta Classic mid-variant diesel is available at 6,58,300 in Delhi and slightly higher in other places – so it can fit in your budget. And it is a great car to drive. easily better than the Figo.…[Read more]
I’m assuming you’ve consciously left out the Swift because of the waiting. If not, you might want to consider it. And maybe also the Micra. If it’s space you want, and want a practical car- it’s the Figo; while if you want a more funky design, decent mileage it’ll be the Beat LT.
There’s also the Honda Brio in this price range. Great styling, great engine, but not really big on space.
For question 1: If you are buying the car via loan, calculate the difference between the EMI for Zxi and EMI For Zdi. If you think the EMI for Zdi is affordable, go ahead buying the Zdi.
For question 2: The Swift and new Dzire have identical kerb weight which means the performance of the new Dzire is nearly same as the Swift. So, the engine is not underpowered. Check the Dzire review of CarToq here : http://www.cartoq.com/new-maruti-suzuki-dzire-launched-price-starts-at-rs-4-79-lakh/
35 km a day comes to around 1500 km a month. Usually, if you are buying the car on EMI, 1500 km means a diesel car will save you money. We will update the Diesel Decider (on th left side, under Car Apps) with the new DZire’s information on Monday, so then you can use it to find out exactly how much u will save with a diesel car (both on EMI or cash down)
its ugly….really ugly….swift looks brilliant
ugly duckling nw with less boot space looks more ugly…
very good review
ugly
YEAH TRULY
” UGLIEST CAR OF MARUTI SUZUKI”
itz a supercooooool car …… awesome interiors are freaking goood
I purchased a dzire vxi in July this year and would say that the people calling it ugly have not had a chance to drive or travel in it, or is it – ‘Angoor Khatte Hain!’
I don’t know what was Maruti Thinking before making this…Car…and…Three car’s in the same section..both A-star,Alto K10 and Zen Estilo falls on the same category ..so choices on the same class models are more or else..not to good idea…If you wanna raise…growth on one model…
A-star still can’t be categorized as whether it can bring…[Read more]
even wagonR sports same engine and is priced less than A-star
A-star worst car frm m/s plz stop the production instead of reducing the prices and bring sum new products.
i like this car
They should have done this earlier. Sometimes I feel Hyundai EON took most of its ideas from A-Star, and made it better. But A-Star is well engineered car, its safe, it handles well and more dynamic then other chassis/model that share the K10 engine. But sadly, our market needs practicality whereas A-Star is sports centric. People didn’t took…[Read more]
I am looking for Hyundai Next Gen i10 with Automatic or any model hatchpack in Hyundai but should be in Automatic, delivery need Kozhikode ,Kerala so please let me know prices & availability -Thanks-My mail id-ahmedpala@gmail.com
Maruti A-Star has been equipped with the next-generation K-series petrol engine, which delivers commendatory, torque and excellent mileage Rs.3.66 lakh is really an affordable and genuine price. http://usedbikes.indiandrives.com
not bad not too good….compare to old Rio exteriors are ok but interiors a/c blowers,a/c knobs, gear knob and other things r quite outdated incl music system, stearing wheel, switches and instrument cluster.platics are also of cheap quality.need to improve also A.S.S needs to be improved.
