auto is very easy to drive….but it gives less average and a bit high on maintenance….manual gives good average and low on maintenance as compared to auto…u have to decide…best auto cars are i10,Honda city,i20……..
Automatic transmission is good for hassle free driving in city traffic but lacks fuel efficiency, moreover automatic versions of i10, i20, a-star, sx4, fluidic verna are not good for highway driving as they have a 4speed gearbox. You can get better throttle response as well as efficiency in manual counterparts.Honda city, civic, vento have good…[Read more]
Pranay good one.. @Soni if you are looking out for SUV types Outlander is a good option for smooth driving exp..Sedans: Honda city, civic are my personal favorites..
Madhu Soni – Agree with Pranay. Automatic gearboxes nowadays are very sophisticated, so usually there is even less maintenance for them. But fuel efficiency gets affected with an automatic in the city. This is because there is an ideal rpm at which cars should upshift – but manual car drivers upshift into a higher gear much earlier. This is not…[Read more]
check the sx4 autobox diesel….most comfortable…expect an avg of 11kmpl which is still good in the city and on highways 15+
Chinmay,There s no Automatic diesel variant in SX-4. Its only available in verna with diesel option
There is a very long waiting period for Verna diesel I think. The Verna has more features and power though
waiting period is not a problem…but how about the two vehicles ON THE ROAD??
Hundai Verna fluidic 1.6 CRDi…..
well do 1 thing book the verna and after delivery sell the fait diesel linea….how was ur experience anay particular reasons for selling it
Dude linea too is a stylish, good looking car with adequate features and handles well too.Why are you planin 2 sell it.Any probs u faced?
Overall the Verna is a better performer and has more power and features than the Linea. But the Linea is a really classy looking car (I would think it is more of a head-turner than the Verna). If you want a Verna CRDi, book now and you’ll probably get delivery in April or May!
Thenks guyz…but Linea…i experienced a peculiar seating……gives a back ache….and the engine….starting [ickup is……not so good…..
FIAT LINEA Diesel is an Excellent car in it’s segment, go for Emotion Pack varient.
If so, then you could definitely go for fluidic verna. Its comforable enough…Though i recommend sell your linea after getting delievery of verna or for a lil experiment you could try adding extra cushions to seat for the time being….I guess you don’t have the T-jet model of linea. The pik up issue was resolved to an extent in that version.
FIAT LINEA Diesel, same engine is found in Maruti as well..
pranay Jiraiya. I have a diesel variant of Linea…MultiJet Emotion……but ya, I agree…..technically Linea is a superior vehicle….only the seating and pickup is a problem!!! and not to mention…the pathetic service that I get from the company!!
You should test drive fluidic verna then. Or if you are trading off linea, then you could try a segment higher this time or try vento d.Altis diesel has pik up lower than tata manza n linea.Though tatas are trying to improve their service quality but fiat vehicles are too much sophisticated for them to handle.A segment higher recommendations would…[Read more]
haha….Linea is my secondary car my friend!!
Howz Vento btw??
HeyVento diesel too is a nyc car wid gud handling, bt nt as loaded as verna.Where do u liv buddy?
buy verna bcoz fiat linea doesn’t have resale value
Swift is a much betta option.. built quality.. betta service.. bettr resale value.. better perfomance.. milage.. nd its japan nt korean..
swift is much bttr but it has a very long waiting period
now you can even go for a honda jazz in that price range
Nishant is right – Jazz is also a good option for you. i20 is a great car for most purposes, and it looks great.
I think i20 is a bad option. Swift has a long waiting period. So go for Jazz..
Oh no you will not at all be sad with i20,Though you can opt for some middle varint Jazz by upping ur budget a little
jazz also has 3-5 months waiting period
i20
