?Vivek Savita Agree that the Honda brand is quite attractive. Also it is a very sporty small car! Problem is, the Vento and the i20 are much bigger in size and interior space. i20 is a solid, reliable car and same for Polo. So if you want space, then they are the clear choice. But if Honda brand is important and you are willing to sacrifice some…[Read more]

No doubt verito is fully packed with features but Mahindra can never compete with other cars as verito got the most ugly looks as compared to other sedans coming with same price tag.

Mahindra should change it’s design…. If we look at in 7 lakh segment…we have much better sedan Manza , Etios , fiesta classic , Dzire & new sunny… :) …. But if we look in SUV segments…Mahindra is going to rock after launching XUV 500… so they should leave it old design of logon by renault.

Instead Mahindra can concentrate in making it an attractive cabby car..the Indicab took the hatchback market by storm..maybe this car can rule the sedan cab segment. Few takers would be willing to buy this car for their personal use how much ever branding Mahindra puts in!

Verna has more features and more power. But City has enough power too, and is a very reliable, solid car. Not as many features as the Verna though. Verna’s ride is more soft and plush, City’s ride is firm and better for faster driving and road-holding etc. Both are very attractive so it comes to a very personal choice! Drive both on the same day…[Read more]

Most fuel-efficient petrol hatchback cars in India

Updated on: 06/04/2012 With petrol prices hitting the roof, shifting to cheaper fuels like diesel or driving electric or hybrid cars seems to be the next best alternative. But diesel cars don’t exactly come cheap and the cost of servicing them can be huge. Hybrids and electrics, on the other hand, cost a bomb, making them out of bounds for most buyers on the lookout

Every car is cleverly placed by car manufacturers in such a price slot that car buyer remains confused. No two cars can actually be compared as far as price, features, looks, comfort, driving pleasure, after sales services and maintenance costs are concerned. So just listen to your heart and go for the car which appeals to you in terms of value…[Read more]

As far as good economy is concerned they missed out Alto.8, Spark, Swift 1.2, Ritz and even Jazz.

The headroom in the new Maruti Swift 2011 is less because of shortened height of the car. The boot space is also just 204 liters which is quiet less as compared to its rivals. The rear seats are somewhat cramped and might create problem in long journeys for a six-foot plus person.

Its pretty hard to write down, since I would say in certain condition, Alto is better, where as if you are a highways commuter, Swift 1.2 K series would offer better solution due to its Gear ratio over Nano returning 20kmpl at around 80/90 or even 100 speed
