Switch off the AC button when the car is cool enough. This applies to cars without climate control. If the car is equipped with automatic climate control, set the car to optimum temperatures to prevent the compressor from running for a long time

Smartly use the AC means we should avoid keeping AC ON on signals, you can also keep AC power at min here… lower rpm lower AC…at higher rpm it doesn’t matter

Even Better, Keep the Damn Rickshaws off the road, No congestion, No road rage, No frustrated Drivers, No Bottle necks, even the BEST drivers are very calm and better fuel average, I realised our problem really is Very High percentage of Idiots on the Street, and not an inadequate road infrastructure.

I try to switch off engine when stopping at a light or when not in use for more than 1 min. I try to avoid minimum use of AC. This can also help in saving some amount of fuel.

        same experience here…

My Honda City 2010 is more efficient than my Hyundai I10 (1.2 kappa) 2009…

From i10 i can get max. 17 km/ltr (with WIDER TYRE set)..

Its all depends upon the Engine’s Power to Weight Ratio, Tyres, Gear ratio, Aerodynamics, Suspensions etc. etc.

Hey… for bike owners… use better engine oils… timely change the oils and use high performance oils… they improve performance and better accelaration…. Maitain an optimum speed always while riding, for eg: for FZ or Fazer, you get 40+ only if u control and ride at speeds of 45 and 50…. 60 and above dips the efficiency….

And better, dont use performance kits and filters… they can drink the petrol sometimes that when you sometimes hit above 90 or above, the efficiency might be way below 20 sometimes… :P :P

Its always better to stick for low maintenance cost cars because they wont burn a hole in your pocket, also they are mainly based on the service quality too.

It means that…By the time car reaches 40000 km which is known as…car’s service holding time limit…cause by the time the car completes 40000 km,people tend to sell it or buy a new one…so the running of the cars declines from daily attire if you are too rich or too poor to drive it…of,course u love your car too much than that’s a different…[Read more]

It also includes associated labor charges for these services.”. Now, pls tell me..do the users think this…[Read more]

TATA Service sucks ! … Very coslty and they cheating a lot. So, Its obvious Fiat cars’ maintenance should also be expensive as it is done by TATA. my friends’ own Chevy, Suzuki and Hyundai cars … their maintenance were very cheap.
