Iconic car. But it will work in a very small niche. Doesn’t work with the Indian mindset. Same reason the Fiat 500 failed here. Even the beautiful beetle couldn’t make a dent at 25lacs. So this will be a far cry at this price. The VM Beetle stood a better chance..but it still couldn’t make it.

It will be very difficult to spot these cars on Indian roads as there will be very few buyers who can afford it. These will go unnoticed just as the FIAT 500 and The VW Beetle.

These kind of cars are not meant to be huge hit or appeal to masses. A very similar situation like VW beetle or Fiat 500. However, the reason could be to just see how the market reacts and at the same time to increase the product ranges of the company. The recent updated news is Mini and BMW are not going to be under the same tree which means Mini…[Read more]

I feel, the built quality will be the same as the petro version, there could be a minor tweak in the front suspension to carry the heavier diesel engine. Performance wise, the Liva diesel will be at par with Figo diesel… goodies same as the petrol version.
