For the XUV mahindra must think of introducing the side facing seats as in the Scorpio as a variant… which would help for people who find the last row very cramped…am sure its not too much of a change…. but XUV is value for money…

Only a drastic price drop can save the Aria..I dunno why they always seem to do that. Even with the Safari, they kept a lakh plus price diff bet scorpio..and lost out..by the time they dropped pricing…it was way too late..they did the same mistake with Aria..at launch itself people had decided against it due to pricing..when we as buyers can…[Read more]

TATA sld still reduced the price and bringa very basic model starting from Rs 8 lacks to beat innova, tavera, xylo and den its other mid and top end models are too expensive so again TATA has to cut down the prices and bring it to near by XUV500 to beat it.i think ARIA sld srat from 8-12 Lacks…….and finaly TATA sld improve there A.S.S and…[Read more]

+ve part is the most awaited zdi model is available now and the plastic quality is much better than the old one.-ve part is the new model has bigger rear window but still feels claustrophobic.boot space limited compared to its competitors.

Better looks and classy interior are worth appreciating.Abs, airbag are a plus, The ZDI Versionis welcome. The dislike are, space at the rear is short of expectations. Not disc at rear, 90BHP vgt diesel should have been an option. The i20 offers 90BHP engine and the topendhas rear disc brakes too and has better boot space too.But i love the New Swift.

Why the Tata Vista diesel is better value than Maruti Suzuki Swift

Tata Motors launched the face-lifted Vista a week after the new Swift was launched. The Swift is the popular and more preferred car among the two, but you will be surprised by this: for a certain set of buyers, the Vista diesel Quadrajet is a better proposition than the Swift diesel. Here’s why!

However, I have noticed a trend, at least in the urban population (also owing to considerably more and growing variants/ options) – where a car has moved on from being a luxury to a necessity. So we should…[Read more]

Question of the day: Do diesel engines last as long as petrol engines?

Evan Neeft Boro has a question that almost all new buyers have, who are not familiar enough with car technologies. Are the new diesel engines in the cars that we see today going to last as long as the petrol engines?

The new gen diesel engines are as good as the petrol engines, as they are smoother than the older ones. With proper maintenance, oil change, and use of good fuel can see good life from them. I have been using a Tata Marina TDI diesel car which has done 126000km in a lil more than 5 yrs. This is not a new gen diesel, but even though the car has…[Read more]

@ Sagar Shriwas : why HONDA cars r only in petrol because .. HONDA corp.. they dont have any expertise in diesel engines .. and they have to purchase desiel engine from either fiat or from some other manufacturer which again leads to increase in price .. which may lead to decrease in sales of HONDA CARS .. although i am waiting for HONDA CITY…[Read more]

honda is too head weighted company that they thght they can scoop customers with their feminine but good petrols. but the truth is other cos like toyota, suzuki, mazda, nissan also have competing engines. As diesel technology got more refined..from cos like fiat..making durable, smoother and smaller diesels got feasible. no honda is also investing…[Read more]

now a days diesel engines are using very evolved diesel injectors… higher compression is possible due to the cooling effect due to the very high pressure injection. but fuel in india is more often than not adultreated…leaving the injectors clogged after years of usage. so that leaves huge questions unanswered in indian case..of the life and…[Read more]

this will b the huge loss to honda market value……….

In theory, diesel and petrol engines are quite similar. They are both internal combustion engines designed to convert the chemical energy available in fuel into mechanical energy.

Diesel engines consume around 30% less fuel than petrol engines and this results in much lesser carbon dioxide emissions. The diesel engines produce virtually no…[Read more]

Proper maintenance with timely services and oil change, using unadulterated fuel, not revving when the engine is cold and idling the turbo properly will easily see modern diesel engines cover 2,00,000 km or more without any issues. Diesels run at lower RPMs through their lifetime as opposed to petrols, its just they have higher pressure at which…[Read more]

If people can digest the dzire..i guess they will digest this shape too…Tata should redesign the car from scratch…..It proviides tremendous vfm on the Manza when compared to Dzire…but the design needs to be reworked on both…..and it would be nice if they could get the manza’s QJET 90 essentially the 1.3 MJT from Fiat but with 90hp on a New…[Read more]

That’s not a big deal by changing the interiors, exteriors & unwanted features ,They would have concentrated on quality of the plastics and A.S.S,would have done many wonders for this luxurious hatch

We should try to understand one thing that strategy of TATA(Trouble again Trouble Again) has been that assemble all the Jugaads together and paste this on emotional Indian masses by making them emotional on the name of Swadeshi. But now the whole scenario has changed, people understand very well.

I believe TATA has all to taste success. But they should bring a newer version of cars altogether. The Indica we see everyday should get a strong sheet. They should launch the Nano Europa in India.
