Skoda has launched its version of the Vento, the Rapid sedan at a starting price of Rs. 6.75 lakh. As with Volkswagen’s Indian strategy of positioning itself as the premium brand and making the Skoda a mass brand, the Rapid is priced Rs. 25,000 lower than the Vento across all variants.
