b/w d two cars u ve specified..its d Swift dt has edge over Punto’s 90hp in terms of performance, fuel efficieny with best a.s.s. &resale value.
Punto is a rigid &stable highway car. It shames other cars with its gr8 ride n handling package even swift. Test drive both cars.

Punto 90HP is good if you like to play around than swift,If you are not worried too much on Fiat’s A.S.S and need the car without waiting for monthsm Punto is the best option you will get.

Punto is a great lovable car.. Best performance and handling.. coolest looks.. but A.S.S. of swift and resale value is a lil better.. though everywhwere A.S.S is not bad and TATA’s are really improving on it..

@suraj.. its so simple,Get the car u love.. Period.
Service is decent enough, ask only to fiat owners in ur area. Separate fiat network and new launches will help in resale. Just wait for jan 3rd upgrades.

wtevr u prefer both the engines r developed by fiat. . . Both have 1.3 lit engine . . But in 90 hp they r generating from same engine thats producing 75 bhp at its good rpm rating. . So durability of 90 hp engine is less. If u wana go fr simple multijet emotion pack than ok. . Nd sm1 talking about suzuki repo. . .no 1 can match up with japnees quality.

Let me try and put it in short. The Swift is more peppy and enjoys lighter steering and smaller turning radius in the city. It also enjoys Maruti’s excellent service network and therefore has very good resale values. The Punto 90HP is more of a highway car and may feel sluggish in the first two gears as well as slightly less zippy in the city due…[Read more]

Linea with lil discounts on diesel is an attractive option, rides well too.. verna is too much feature loaded and is an excellent vfm but loses some ground on ride quality.. sunny is for calm drivers, it handles well but lacks sporty feel, and about rapid, its better to shell out 25000 more for vento.. If I’ve to choose one, I’d lock between verna…[Read more]

Ride quality is actually quite subjective – it is different in the city and the highway, on good roads and bad roads, at moderate speeds and when driving fast… on straight roads or on mountain curves. Where exactly will you be driving the car? Verna is quite plush and nice on uneven roads at slow speeds, not so good at curves… Rapid is stiffer…[Read more]

@gaurav: buddy, for ride + handling quality &for value for ur money go with Linea. Its gud compared to others. But it has low ground clearance.
Rapid is also a gud choice. Only it vl b expensive to maintain.
Verna is a feature rich car. But its also a bit low grounded &its handling is not so gud as 1 expect.
        Test drive al d cars.

For ride quality, go 4 skoda or fiat. New linea coming on 3rd jan will get better interiors and ground clearence. Fiat service cost is as low as maruti but quality depends on dealer. Same with skoda but costs are higher.

Eeco aircon is very powerful and the car makes 73 BHP which is powerful than 47HP Alto,if you are using for schooling purpose 7 seater will be a good option, but you won’t get A/C in 7 seater, else buy 5 seater and convert to seven seater.
