Just bcs of looks…..
if people r still confusd den dey need to change there mindset…..
This is just the start for Nissan. And the present Sunny is the Petrol variant. I am surprised that there are 659 cars sold despite the erratic petrol price. The Diesel version should give us the precise picture.
its quite difficult to gain the confidence nd faith of peeps… Nd the engines were gud but undrpower…
1. Not suitable for small cities coz of size and poor after sales service.
2. Only petrol variat available for now.
let the diesel come, we indians will show our buying power….
should do well once the disiel variant is launched.
bad looker, no for me…
when we are expecting in diesel…………
people would nt go for dis car as it is of nissan…nissan services r very poor!
perhaps now nissan will listen, given the way they say & understand a CAAAAAR.
Also the diesel model needs to be starting from 6.25L to make right noise in the market.
They also need to correct Micra prices by about 50K.
People are quite clear. Below Rs.10 lakh, 7 out of 10 buyers would go either for a Maruti, Hyundai or Ford than new brands like VW, Nissan.. Reason? Buyers are concerned about resale value, after sales and services, spare parts cost. Only in the luxury segment, can the people have a free mindset for they have surplus cash to experiment buying new…[Read more]
Remember the premium pricing Nissan demanded for Micra? Its starting at 5.72 lakh for base variant and Rs.6.17 lakh for the top-end variant whereas the petrol variants starts at Rs. 4.10 and ends at Rs. 5.38. If the same pricing strategy followed in Sunny, they would offer just two variants, base variant at Rs. 8 lakh and top-end variant at Rs. 8.6 lakh
Actually, the market size for Sunny like cars is more than 1,500 units a month. Hence, this is pretty low. Further, if the first month sales haven’t been that great.. it simply shows the car in itself doesn’t attract that much… this is just my opinion…
Gyanendra Singh Rajput, You can get the vehicle from Mumbai.
I think Nissan will get over it in matter of time…yes, its true that Nissan as a commuter car maker is pretty alien to the subcontinent and As a MNC company I hope they realize the bitter truth.
For Nissan, Innovation and strategy is good technique in applying for the new car makers in the huge markets like us because even if you try harder on…[Read more]
Then they must get ready to face the heat… I’ll buy Manza instead
when u r concernd abt resale den buy second hand car ok….dnt compare nissan with maruti n hyundai……nissan havg its class n above ur maruti n hyundai ok….apart from resale value n spare parts, yes it z new n once hyundai n maruti was new in d market n ppl had accptd it….try to lyk n accpt changes in the market to kill monopoly in d maket ok…..
in whole of delhi NCR I saw only one nissan dealership.
hell even VW has more.
r they planning for diesel model?
Honda says a small diesel engine for their small cars (Brio and Jazz) but the launch will happen in 2013 or 2014
5.5 lac for Jazz, 5.1 lac for Brio.. makes sense?
review is completely honda biased..
the vehicle os a good car from Honda but still I think why honda is not providing Bluetooth, cd player, turn indicator on mirriors, auto mirror folding, auto cimate control and an option of diesel eng, sunroof in any of there models like in City, Jazz or in Brio? overall brio is a good car.
I dint like the car much.
better options are available in market with good features and price for the small segment cars.
Cannot compete swift. its price tag should be in the santro or beat segment cars.
It is nice car overall and Honda is making an effort to being practical to its heights, which as a customer and environmentalist I feel good. CD player, Bluetooth and climate control are luxuries and hence for a normal commuter a radio is more practical I think. In my research, its not worth coming up with diesel engines in Brio variants where as…[Read more]
Mr. Valayapathy… yen epdi
Aravind Anbu .. ennavo thonuchi Aravind.. cuz i’d rather go for Jazz instead of high end Brio.. adhellam vidunga, arasiyalla idhellam sagajam..
Vigneswara V Valayapathy rightu vidunga (In vadivel style)
ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
Aravind Anbu :
Honda badly needs a diesel motor to win the competition.
abe yaar jab 5.5 lakh dena hai to bolero jaise gadi kyon na lele ya thar 4 4 lelena chahiye.
yeh to bachon ka khilona hai rickshaw se bhi bach ke chalana psdega.
Good thing is dat there were no visable cost cutting efforts in brio as seen in liva. gr8 work by honda. it seems honda undersood the indian buyers bettet than toyotas.
LIKE IT VERY MUCH, BEST IN SMALL SEGMENT.
lyking nyc deal.
I like it.
I lllllllike thiss.
MR…Bean In India…
Iconic car. But it will work in a very small niche. Doesn’t work with the Indian mindset. Same reason the Fiat 500 failed here. Even the beautiful beetle couldn’t make a dent at 25lacs. So this will be a far cry at this price. The VM Beetle stood a better chance..but it still couldn’t make it.
superbbbbbbbbbbbb waiting for these cars….after all BMW Rocks……..and it will be a sucessful all over India…i hope BMW will very soom launsh its 1 series car also…..Mini rocks….
My favourite set of wheels coming to India, but won’t be able to afford in the near future!
nice car…..but overpriced.
mr bean in india.
Not doubt its a iconic car, but sadly most of the people here will have to satisfied with photos and glims of the car
It will be very difficult to spot these cars on Indian roads as there will be very few buyers who can afford it. These will go unnoticed just as the FIAT 500 and The VW Beetle.
Underpowered engines i guess for this category and price..
no sir..this car is 2 awesum to xplain…wish i cud ride it…
That’s the one……my all time favourite just love this car.
sure day ll come u grab it….
I hope bmw to price mini at lower levels than what is mentioned in the article.
just can`t wait to see this car on indian roads….only thing is that the cost is on the higher side….
all time favourite….
Welcome MINIIIIIIIIIIII, Mwuuuuah.
Yeah, its pricey tho’ with a robust engine! Wonder what the on-road price is in India. Any clues, Charan???
beauty’s in india….would love to see them on the road doing “THE INDIAN JOB”.
Hope that the countryman would do good in india.
thankx for this news . its gr8 news;-)
Awesome car…bt nt for true Indians
if it was @least of ah 2000cc engine, it wud have been nyc to see dis small car fly(not roll)in d road.but its as usual 1.6l car its ah common sized engine.hmm, lets see.
These kind of cars are not meant to be huge hit or appeal to masses. A very similar situation like VW beetle or Fiat 500. However, the reason could be to just see how the market reacts and at the same time to increase the product ranges of the company. The recent updated news is Mini and BMW are not going to be under the same tree which means Mini…[Read more]
if want refinement , and simplicity and toughness Polo is the option. if u want space jazz is gud, swift, is of maruti suzuki, gud engine, spares cheap, gud interior. but lack refinement, space.
Jazzzz all the way!
Jazz is the best! Going to book it soon:)
polo…..if not a vw fan,, than go for jazz..but frm my opinion,, just go for polo…
Well…People…no matter how many car’s companies introduce….They failed to realize one’s personal Desire for a motor vehicle and that is where you will win..a car and emblem it yours…so it doesn’t matter too much when you want to drive…Dil Kholl ki challo….
But on the contrary…Certain people will go for certain vehicle’s….Every…[Read more]
Swift – a safe buy, Jazz – a brand buy, Polo – a premium buy.
SEE BUDDY A SIMPLE ANSWER.
IF UR PERFORMANCE ORIENTED GUY THEN LOOK NO FURTHER OTHER THAN SWIFT.
IF U WANT LOTS OF SPACE &A BRAND IMAGE THEN GO FOR JAZZ.
&IF U WANT A NO NONSENSE CAR THAT CAN LAST FOREVER BUT U CAN ADJUST REAR LEGROOM THEN GO FOR POLO.
jazz…any time…..and now with reduced price tag, its a steal…..jus go for it man..
Jazz all the way…thas everything… looks, power, safety… a complete package. well guess thers nothing to think at all..
IF U WANT LOTS OF SPACE &A BRAND IMAGE THEN GO FOR JAZZ.MY CHOICE IS HONDA JAZZ NOW ITS CHEAPER COMPARE TO OLD JAZZ PRICE………LOTS OF SPACE IS THERE LARGEST BOOT SPACE AND LOTS OF FEATURES…….JAZZ IS SUMTHING SEXYY CAR AND IS NOT COMMON CAR.SWIFT IS VERY COMMON EVEN POLO AND BOTH CARS R NOT AS SPACIOUS AS JAZZ…….SERVICE NETWORK WISE…[Read more]
according to the features swift is the best one. it comes in 4 to 6.8lacs.
according to the brand and space swift and polo polo is best one…….
and according to the space, brand and pride of ownership jazz is good.
but in my point of view honda jazz and swift is the best one, because features little bit more in swift and, jazz is good…[Read more]
Jazz – for the space, fit n finishing and versatility offers at an affordable price. In addition, Honda brand and decent fuel economy makes Jazz a best city mini MPV in the market.
Jazzn has a FE that is constant and in city drive provides more FE than swift..jazz base model comes with audio system, abs, airbag where as other is not..Jazz select model is comparable with swift zxi and is 5.75 which is around 20k more..but it’s worth having a jazz for that price.
Jazz Jazz Jazz….no way polo.
if u have a tight budget then go for swift.. otherwise jazz. polo is a no no.
Swift: low on space in the back seat and boot space is less.but good fuel efficient engine and cheap to maintain.Jazz:high on space, less fuel efficient compared to swift and good boot space.Polo:Stunning looks, over priced, most unrefined 1.2,3 cylinder engine and very cramped rear seates.
GUD SPACIOUS N COMFORTABLE CAR GUD LOOKS STRONG N STURDY BUILT HONDA JAZZZZ…NEXT POLO 3 CYLINDER CAR BUT GUD GERMAN VW BUILT FUEL EFFICIENT CAR…SWIFT IS OLD DESIGN ….BORING ….FORD FIESTA IS BETTER
Today, I have booked Jazz-select in Bangalore, Lavelle Road, Dhashin Honda, November 3rd week is car delivery time, I have selected Titanium color.
Just I want to clarify, is the driver seat height adjustment is worth with Jazz – X variant for my average height 5ft 5in (5′ 5″, ie 165cm). I have to learn my car driving now! If required I want to…[Read more]
polo is waste of money…in case of service charge polo ill make u to settle down……swift tops the list in case of budget, servivibility, reliability…..if u r sport man go for jazz….it ill fill u up with wat u need n seedan…
swift all the way
well..new swift is new, new looks, wheels, interior, new engine, new price..were as jazz is with new price, has good space, and honda brand is bigger brand and image..suzuki has bigger market share in India, good after market spare and service support..if compare both i should say jazz as b++ and swift B+ segment..interior space of jazz is awsome ,…[Read more]
I would rather choose Jazz VS Swift and its no problem paying for the new one as its priced under 7 lakhs under B’lore!!!!
No way Swift can match up to Jazz. Wonder how Honda is going to keep the spares cost down.
Petrol: jazz…space … diesel… hmmm
swift can never be underestimated.
I go for Honda Jazz, I like it.
Tough call… Jazz for over all comfort and space, substantially bigger (170 litres more) boot. Swift for the better driving experience, torquey engine, features, now electric operated mirrors too… Depends on what the customer wants from the car.
jazz is better than new swift.
The price that makes the difference it’s nearing 2 lakhs, a wholesome amount.
My heart says Jazz but pocket says Swift. Is Honda also taking care of pricing of spare parts because that will incline more customer towards Jazz. Honda should give it a think.
Both these cars does not have/support Bluetooth which is only the drawback.
I think people will like Honda Jazz, rather than swift, though performance of swift is better.
bhaijaan mujhe to swift pasand hai…
tough comp in between..hatches.
its became even more tougher for d buyers to decide now.
Honda is Honda.
go with honda jazz x.
I go with jazz.
swift is better car honda always maintanance over.
GOING for jazz.
performance of both the cars is similar jazz gives a intenational look and no doubt boot space is very important or long journeys, spending so much amount and not getting a big boot space on swift. jazz is overall a super car in this segment.
Congrats for the new car
no one can beat maruti Swift.
I Like swift. Good Service Network, Spares at better price, better millage. Only negative observation is boot space.
I reckon Jazz could be a good choice…it gives the buyer the premium look or else what’s point in buying cramped premium car.
karlo duniya muthi main.
Good review, Thanks.
I would always prefer a Honda over Maruti. After all, a 1akh here and thr shouldn’t matter for the premium segment Car, I hope. Swifts r found in every nook and corner, while the Jazz being a premium Car and Honda being a brand which even the Maruti owner would want to upgrade 1 day. I would alwayz go in for a Honda or a Toyota over MAruti..
there’s no damn difference now……check ur specs man..!!
price is more or less same now!!
I’m writing about the high end version prices bro…….
Check by yourself
well well well……u better check that too boss……….diff. not more than a lac….
Jazz is not about the Price.. A simply price conscious customer will never be able to pick a Honda! Jazz is way ahead in its premium-ness compared to Swift!!
one lac is nothing to you, but to me………….
it’s one hundred thousand rupees bro………….
For the non-performance oriented person, the Jazz is definitely a better car because its interiors and seating are much better designed than the Swift. For somebody looking at performance, the Swift is better (more torque at lesser RPM, too). Honda has to do something about its somewhat high-handed dealer attitude (reported at times) and its spare…[Read more]
