Ritz diesel. Cant go wrong with it. VDi might just about touch 6 lakhs, not sure about Hyderabad pricing
Agree. Ritz diesel is a good choice. Meets all your requirements above
Yes its Ritz diesel as the above members said:Has national diesel millbetter quality is seen hereall your needed stuffSettled ride quality to certain extentGood spaceRitz has never gone through disastrous A.S.S and cheap to maintain the vehicle!
hmm..so ritz is the clear winner here.no takers for Punto?Isnt rita a tall boy design? Also is it a bit undertyred or both are my misconceptions?Sent via phone pls ignore any typos
Punto is a good vehicle with very good performance and nice build quality, but the sales suffered because of its poor A.S.S because its taken care by Tata So what if Tall boy is concerned? You can upsize the tyres if you wish and it wont cost that much
?Raunak Verma Everyone loves the Punto, no one buys it
Sales are very low nowadays. Ritz is what it is – a reliable, well built diesel that rides like a good tall boy car should. Safest buy in this price range for a diesel…
Any ideas hw much will the tyre upgrade cost?hws the cornering ability of the ritz.does it wobble/vibrate a lot on hi speeds? What abt rattles etc.?Does the vdi come with integrated audio n stuff?Sry..too many questions, but I just want to make sure before making any financial commitments. abt punto..I too love it, but a little skeptical abt ASS.…[Read more]
iam using the micra diesel… i love its performace
i thot u had a Polo??abt micra..u skipped the very 1st line it seems, shud not be more than 6L on road
Luv the retro type interiors though.
i have the polo also…. but its petrol… if u were going for the petrol thts one i wudve suggested u…. its been about 6 months since i got the micra… i suggest u increase the bugdet about 50k u’ll have more options…. including fabia
From 4..to 5 and now 6, if I increase it up by couple of $, will have to ask my landlord to let me n for couple of mnths for free
Fabia: except the interiors nothing excites me, add to it the horror skoda stories. If I had a 50k more, then wud have added another 50 and wud take the Manza. Anyways, 6 is the max, add another 25-30 for the ICE and…[Read more]
well the vdi is a very successful engine…. and i heard tht the ritz performance is really good…. i dont knw much about the interiors though….i like figo’s exterior better than ritz though, but thts about it… so overall i think the ritz
Well..lets see, got a test drive for both this saturday, its going to be a tough 1 !
About the rattles, yes Ritz feels rattling over speeds of 120+kmph because of its tall boy design, but the wider tyres makes it settled if you plan to upgrade it.The VDI doesn’t come with audio player, you have spend for that and tyres.About the Figo it is a good car with good suspension, spacious interiors than ritz sharp handling, but the main…[Read more]
Ritz seems to be the solution here, TDing both on saturday, will update soon
buddy wott abt liva diesel?
Well both Ritz and Figo are capable hatchbacks. My 2 cents :Ritz :+ Reliability, niggle free nature. Maruti Advantage.+ SUV like stance, good visibility for the driver. Relatively easy ingress+ DDiS engine is very efficient (better than Figo), and very torquey in its turbo zone.+ Acceptable ride quality and handling entertaining for a tall car.…[Read more]
Well..td’d both of them yesterday, extensively.Ritz indeed is the clear winner as far as the engine is concerned.I hated the interiors to the core, and even in the vdi i am not getting any ICE, added features etc. Ingress is definitely easier.Dint feel very confident while on hi-speed, mainly because of the taller stance maybe.Otr hyd: 6.37 L, no…[Read more]
Micra overpricedSwift D: DDis Rocks !!Fabiia: btr than swift in terms of interiors..engine lacks power thoughUr call..interiors v/s the performance
my only consideration is the suspension considering specially the pilani’s so called roads !! even the route from delhi is not so good… and as far as the FE goes, i guess both are more or less the same …
Swift suspension should not be an issue, but u’ll encounter rattles for sure
swift
u can also go for new vista-sedan class
Yes Vista is a good bet and a good vehicle to handle the bad roads of our Indian roads. The’THUD’ Feel rarely makes it presence inside you may consider that too.
Fiat Punto Grande, Tata Vista-Sedan Class, Swift three are best
