Go with the Chevy man. :) 1. Super Looks(subjective though) 2. GM’s Low Maintenance 3.Interior Quality 4. Performance better than the Wagon-R(have driven both) 5. Looking at the no.of kms you drive a Diesel makes sense. 6. Do also have a look at the Maruti Suzuki Ritz as both fall into the same category.

if u r constantly travelling with more than 2 people the wagon r should be better for the rear passengers of the lot , else the cute and sporty looking beat..but an lpg fitted wagon r seriously leaves some doubts about overtaking and gear shifts Do have a look at the tata indica vista and maruti ritz.

I am driving wagon r and my friend z using beat.
both are good but as compare 2 beat wagon r is more comfertable and spacious.
and the boot space is also good in wagon r compare 2 beat.
the only benefit in beat is the three year maintanance.

I m also in favor of Beat diesel due to all those prons mentioned in the article n in your comments. However, my interest with the Wagon R aroused coz of its easy entry, exit n seat height useful for some elderly pupil in my family & low maintenance cost on being a petrol maruti vehicle wlth the LPG which runs @2/- per…[Read more]

Looks good ,,,, first buyers had no choice at this price, ALTO was d one n only car but EON ‘s entry will give them a chance to choose,,,,, mind u the competition will always benefit the buyers. I will say BRIO at ALTO price.

Although the price is a little over than the alto, the EON is way better lookin than the dated.
Alto. I hope its better goin for the one which has an AC and power steering. that’s sufficient.

Crap….2.69Lakhs (could be close to 3 Lakhs on road) just for design? You don’t get even AC by spending 3 LAkhs. Do not be fooled. Discard Eon till they come up with a price which is ON.

    Skoda Rapid images revealed

The Skoda Rapid was recently caught un-camouflaged, the images reveal that the design of the car is somewhat a blend of the Skoda Fabia’s front, the Skoda Laura’s rear and the Volkswagen Vento’s side profile. All the elements however come together beautifully and give the Rapid an elegant , no non-sense appeal.

a sporty hatchback….n more advanced then the Alto in mileage n engine performance. more over the design of the car gives it a sporty look n price is also similar to that of Alto. so I think its definitely going to make it in the market.

Misleading article. The picture is that of Alto K10 and the comparison is done with Alto Std. The Alto K10 comes with 68 bhp K-Series engine, which is silk smooth, for a 3 pot motor. The power to weight ratio of K10 is almost that of SX4. It drives very smooth and looks good too. Not sure if EON can cause any dent in that segment. Pricing a new…[Read more]

Every thing be same or better than Alto K10 in Eon, but it can not beat it in mileage…i just bought a new Alto K10 and on my trip of 650 km it gave me a mileage of around 25 although I used AC for almost 200 km…so I feel mileage is where Alto k10 beats Eon…n also K10 give a feel of maruti Zen and which I almost will buy if they ever lauch it…

HYUNDAI..U CANNOT DO THE SUZUKI THING…it will not able to dent alto sales, moreover, it cheap version does not have ac and power sterling then u better buy a nano with ac…Hyundai sales are down, new vehicle seat quality is also not good…compared to suzuki new alto..eon team has to do much hard work in marketing and product placement..

Eon low end model starts with 2.69 L ( ex -show room price + no AC + no Power windows + no music system + no central locking) + approx. 40 K for RTO and insurance.. The just next version with Ac is priced at 2.91 L ( ex-showroom).

On the positive side, Eon has the most beautiful sleek design and interiors. Something Alto lacks completely. When I compare the looks of Eon and Alto, an Alto seems to me like a packaging box.
        rather than a ‘CaR’.
