MARUTI SUZUKI ZEN(JELLLY_BEAN DESIGN).
Biggest one is Missing proper convertibles this side of 15 lacs.
a Renault, peugeot Convertible is really needed.
Impractical but oh soh fun on the open highways…the Dil Chahta hai style. How I wish San Storm was Better built. :/
So many things are missing…We don’t have luxury car’s that can be near to luxury…we don’t have vehicle’s which can carry sports agenda…all are economic shits…If everything comes to economic theory ,,, then..my god…mustang would have been a pick up truck…
We must also give a Sector of production values like Craft Car’s…In Other…[Read more]
Waaaaaaah. If BMW, Audi & Merc are seriously planning for the above mentioned Entry level Sedans It is Gr8 News.
I love BMW cars and SUV’s the sheer driving pleasure………the ultimate driving machine…..
DWS, TM’s Venture is not in BS4 variant so it is not getting response in Bangalore(BS4 City).Saw only one till date after a moth it had been released here.
How about an entry level sports car? We have Lambo, Porsche, Audi and stuffs with above 2 Cr price tags. Looking forward for a bunch of lineups to compete with the Lancer Evo…

I’M WAITING FOR MAHINDRA’S MINI XYLO,SUZUKI JIMNY, N DACIA DUSTER…
Duster looks awsum mean….looks promising.
MERCss A n B clzz goin 2 rock…launch it soon…
Suzuki should quickly launch the new Jimny(gypsy) with the 1.3 FIAT diesel.
also thank M&M for launching the THAR.
just make sure u close the roof while at a red light
Else “wind in hair” may become “spit in hair” experience
our countries economic policies arent like the ones abroad…neither are our petrol prices nor our petrol reserves..u gotta think about it all…just can launch a dodge RAM or charger just like that into india…cars that will sell, will be sold here…
Nishant Moon Sirohi if this were the case then i believe the roof of all cars shud have been red by paan stains now.
Saurav Bhattacharjee Truee…car enthusiast shud shift to Venezuela where petrol is Re1.14 per litre
Raviraj Samant exactly man…being a car enthusiast and being born in india has been a curse for u,i bet….but then just think about it,if the govt opens up the import market, cuts down on taxes and allows ford mustang/camaro’s to be sold for 15 lacs, the amount of petrol these cars would guzzle, will surely send the demand and price of petrol up…[Read more]
Saurav Bhattacharjee The probable solution to this is: Build more.. (I mean lotsa actually) CNG pumps (as CNG is natural and India has huge reserves of it). Make those pumps available on Highways too. CNG cant be adulterated..so that’s the plus point.
Building more powerful engines to cope up with CNG’s bhp loss can also be done.
Raviraj Samant sports car on cng…yeah we must wait for stuff like that…but is it technically feasible….?????get hold of an engineer and ask….
Saurav Bhattacharjee not sportscar mebbe..hey but the volkswagen scirocco cup is based on CNG cars.
but see..CNG is the future for India… not electric cars.
Raviraj Samant u may never know
before cars we need roads.
u can import even the Gumpert Apollo or even the Buggatti.
but would u want them to have scratched underbellies and misaligned wheels?
Nishant Moon Sirohi I wudn’t be too stupid to open the roof at city traffic..not in mumbai’s heat atleast see my first comment? I said “the Highways”, buddy.
Raviraj Samant & @[569257077:2048:Saurav Bhattacharjee] — I am quite in this dimension that I can..understand…What is Petrol and What is its position World over And India… ?
What I Said is a Very different Aspect,,,…I have a Blacksmith Workshop…I made it at home…Does that mean that I should Sell Dagger’s Or Sword To People or To…[Read more]
Diesel compact SUVs – Just what I need
Raviraj Samant
may be the renault wind or diahatsu copen
a fiat freemonte fully loades is approx 14 lakh, I wonder why cant FIat launch it in india to kill the innova and aria.
Nishant Moon Sirohi why not Suzuki make something like that? like a Mazda Miata sorta
Raviraj Samant
cuz they are one hell of a babu infested company, they sold the 4 generations of the same car together.
what bothers me is that why cant toyota bring some small cars from its diahatsu brand, badge engineering never hurts
and a small SUV is badly needed. Dacia duster anyone.
Aahnik Purshottam Nanda Choudhury I will try man.
C ya soon in few years…
Nishant Moon Sirohi haha ![]()
Toyota.. hmm.. if they respond to feedbacks ![]()
They would have launched the RAV4 to tackle XUV by now
Raviraj Samant
their PR sucks(or is i guess was bribed by mr khattar in its days)
their response for NOT launching corrolla diesel, “we do not think that market is ready for a diesel mid sizer…..really skoda which was unknown became what it is today thanks to a “diesel mid sizer”
they took 3 years to launch the fortuner, and when they did…[Read more]

Who the hell in India suggested Etios/Liva to be designed so boring?
Eon looks better in every aspect.
Raviraj Samant — Brother..If you try real hard…I am sure..that your outcome will be fruit-full…I already took a Small project to convert a Car..into something specials…The main thing…If you want to go and make a world of yourself…then tighten your seat belts and buzz on….I want to see my Country as a Symbol that can be…[Read more]

I will start from small things now. ![]()
I aspire to be car designer actually.
But also have a gr8 idea in mind.
Hope its possible to implement it.
Yeah, do really miss a modern compact off-roader in India. The only one that fits the bill is the ancient Gypsy. Hope Suzuki get their Jimny here. Or Daihatsu the Terios, or even the Mitsubushi Pajero SWB and Jeep Wrangler. Hope we get a proper compact SUV soon.
in petrol i feel honda city is superb in every sense..its comfortable, spacious, fuel efficient and most important has an amazing brand value. sm1 getting out of a chauffer-driven city alws gets attention. if budget is not a problem, fiat linea is superb in every way cos its extremely comfortable and has a v good siesel engine as well. vento has…[Read more]
I FEEL TATA MANZA WILL BE A GRT CHAUFFER DRIVEN OR OTHERWISE U DRIVE…VERY COMFORTABLE CAR N FUEL EFFICIENT….HONDA CITY IN PETROL VERSION…BOTH HAVE GUD RESALE VALUE….
sx4 . . . Petrol, vento petrol. Verna 1.6 petrol.
I liked fiat linea.
Vento or Linea only.
I like vento.
city
verna
linea….. anytime
verna fludic
linea is best always, waiting for 1.6 multijet.
verna, vento and linea r the best sedansssssssssssss…………..
it has to be the Manza.
City and Vento both will be best in chauffeur driven sedans as it offers best comfort in the rear seat.
linea good car.
City, verna and Linea the ever berst evrgreen cars in this segment chauffer driven car
verna scores no 1 for looks, linea`s looks doesnt appeal everyone. honda city is common nowadays and doesnt offer features compare to its rivals.but all of them forgot the leader maruti suzuki who has sx4 which doesnt look as good as verna but is very practical compare to all in driving on indian roads, low maintenance, easy ingress and outgress…[Read more]
One mistake from editor: under thigh (they call it lumbar support). Actually under-thigh support is the seat support on which you rest your thighs. This depends on seat length (along the hips to knees) and the bench angle. And lumbar support is the support for your lower-back of spine. This depends on the padding at the lower part of the back rest…[Read more]
Whoa seems like the premium manufacturing companies are on price slashing spree! First was City,Jazz,Fabia and now laura!
Now-a-days petrol cars will be targeted by performance lovers and from their view it will be the Laura with 1.8 litre engine and 160 bhp even if Civic slashes it’s price. Dated looks, low powered engine, launch of the face-lifted model, low GC, etc. will add to the cons’ for HCivic.
Skoda Laura prices r slashed ….but Skoda maintenance is high..this is going to drill holes in ur pockets…honda will surely reduce civic prices…..
whooomp competition gets tougher in D-SEGMENT as well..
If I had the cash I would bet it on the Czech..
)
Even me too…..!!!!!
“Laura ” is worth buying than “Civic” , due to features matter Laura 1.8 Ambiente model which gives more features than the Civic…and even less price than Civic…..Tough competition begins…i Hope so Honda will take some steps for sure to be back on track……
It is too late too little with the overpricing now going downwards.
indian car market sucks! guys we need latest models not d used ones in other countries!
They have to.
I think honda has to othink seriously as they have already cut of the priced of city and jazz now they have to du it again with civic as if Skoda Laura at Rs 11 lakh and Laura 1.8 Ambiente which costs Rs 13.5 lakh with fully loaded model we will better go for Skoda and not for honda.as of now civic is outdated compare to Cruize.take it seriouly…[Read more]

I like it.

I lllllllike thiss.
MR…Bean In India…
Iconic car. But it will work in a very small niche. Doesn’t work with the Indian mindset. Same reason the Fiat 500 failed here. Even the beautiful beetle couldn’t make a dent at 25lacs. So this will be a far cry at this price. The VM Beetle stood a better chance..but it still couldn’t make it.
superbbbbbbbbbbbb waiting for these cars….after all BMW Rocks……..and it will be a sucessful all over India…i hope BMW will very soom launsh its 1 series car also…..Mini rocks….
super car
My favourite set of wheels coming to India, but won’t be able to afford in the near future!
nice car…..but overpriced.
mr bean in india.
awesome.car………………superb
Not doubt its a iconic car, but sadly most of the people here will have to satisfied with photos and glims of the car
It will be very difficult to spot these cars on Indian roads as there will be very few buyers who can afford it. These will go unnoticed just as the FIAT 500 and The VW Beetle.
Underpowered engines i guess for this category and price..
no sir..this car is 2 awesum to xplain…wish i cud ride it…
great looks
That’s the one……my all time favourite just love this car.
sure day ll come u grab it….
I hope bmw to price mini at lower levels than what is mentioned in the article.
just can`t wait to see this car on indian roads….only thing is that the cost is on the higher side….
all time favourite….
Welcome MINIIIIIIIIIIII, Mwuuuuah.
Yeah, its pricey tho’ with a robust engine! Wonder what the on-road price is in India. Any clues, Charan???
beauty’s in india….would love to see them on the road doing “THE INDIAN JOB”.
Hope that the countryman would do good in india.
thankx for this news . its gr8 news;-)
Awesome car…bt nt for true Indians
if it was @least of ah 2000cc engine, it wud have been nyc to see dis small car fly(not roll)in d road.but its as usual 1.6l car its ah common sized engine.hmm, lets see.
superb car
These kind of cars are not meant to be huge hit or appeal to masses. A very similar situation like VW beetle or Fiat 500. However, the reason could be to just see how the market reacts and at the same time to increase the product ranges of the company. The recent updated news is Mini and BMW are not going to be under the same tree which means Mini…[Read more]
