BS, These engines are always run in, but it is always better to cruise at sensible speed for a few hundred km, does not mean slow or something, just sensible, cruise at sensible speeds, don’t race around for the first 500 km atleast, cruising is ok, no un-necessary revving, for that you have all the time in the world ,LATER.This is generally for…[Read more]

They seem workable for people like me, we have our own compound at home and work, and average travel per day is about 35 kms, But otherwise, I doubt it, no facilities for recharging, How would people living in an Apartment manage this.

very highly priced , still only 80 kmpl (LAB variant), the govt. still wants to fool people and take them for granted , a non polluting vehicle should have major tax exemption which is not being given to consumers. the consumer should stop buying such vehicles and tell the companies and the govt. that they no longer will be taken for granted.

How long the life cycle of batteries? It is the main question to compare its actual running cost against any petrol or diesel car.
I think it will be sensible to buy the car even if the cost of running comes at par with a diesel car which gives 25 Kmpl.

Switch off the AC button when the car is cool enough. This applies to cars without climate control. If the car is equipped with automatic climate control, set the car to optimum temperatures to prevent the compressor from running for a long time

Smartly use the AC means we should avoid keeping AC ON on signals, you can also keep AC power at min here… lower rpm lower AC…at higher rpm it doesn’t matter

Hey… for bike owners… use better engine oils… timely change the oils and use high performance oils… they improve performance and better accelaration…. Maitain an optimum speed always while riding, for eg: for FZ or Fazer, you get 40+ only if u control and ride at speeds of 45 and 50…. 60 and above dips the efficiency….

CNG’s safety is low plus gs powered engine life is not too lon,
in the end of day petrol, diesel, CNG all have stand equal,
maintaing diesel car is not too easy plus it only have high torque at low rpm
        not high power

Fiat Linea is a gud looking car. Two, it has an excellent ride. Three it is a ‘BIG’ car in fact it is as big as the Toyota Corolla Altis and the Honda Civic. And what is equally important is that it has an excellent diesel engine. But,yet the sales suffer bcoz after sales service is not gud,the resale value also not gud….But until Fiat resolves…[Read more]

Fiat’s inability to put in place a good quality after-sales service network despite being in the country for 14 years has left customers wondering about the company’s commitment to Indian market. The real problem with Linea is poor sales and service oraganization and people. It’s got awesome look. Power, yes, the older variants are tortoises to start with. However, the kind of power and interior finish it has is not good enough to take on the competition.
