You are comparing alto k10′s top end varriant with magna.. :O and at the same time you are quoting the price of its lowest version.. *biased review*

the comparison is based on the price Alto K10 VXi is priced at Rs. 3.17 (non-metallic) while the Eon Magna is priced at Rs. 3.36 lakh. I completely deny its a biased review for we have clearly given the verdict highlighting the USP of each car ” Overall, the Alto K10 offers more with regard to performance while the Eon Magna which costs Rs.…[Read more]

Absolutely right. But when cars are closely priced, the buyer will consider all the cars in the same price range. :)

Alto K10 is no comparison with Eon. Also the elegant high class sedan like style of K10 is amazing. I do not like to drive car look like a toy. My K10 is now 1 year old. I drive it in Hyderabad traffic like a bike and also overtake always the real bikes too.

I still go to Alto K10 for It’s K-Series Engine. Hyundai cars are expensive to maintain.

common the power to weight ratio of k10 is comparable to swift petrol nd u comparing it with eon…nothing in market can match k series engines refinement.. only cons is shorter gear ratio nd soft shockers of k10..everything else too gud.

Aravind Anbu but still i dont c any relevance on dis…..it shuld be compare with alto 800cc only…..apart from pricing, hyundai 1st said dey ll launch magna at 2.36 and it was fixed and dont knw abt the sudden changes although magna is apealing but still it z new in the 800 cc segment and nt sure abt its performance as compared to alto 800cc.

that is the on road price.but now beacuse of discounts it has come down to 3.4 lakhs on road.but eon with power steering and p windows is 40k costlier on road as hyundai is not providing discounts for say next few months.

Diesel hatchbacks you can buy with less than a month's waiting period!

Waiting periods are taking their toll on potential buyers looking for hatchbacks, especially, diesel versions. CarToq spoke to dealers across the country and found out which diesel small cars you can buy within a month.

I would reccommend Tata Vista vx for 2 good reasons.
        1. It shares the same engine as swift diesel (1.3-litre multijet engine).
        2. The new Sedan Class offers you more than any other hatchback in the country, true value for money.

Personally ford figo rocks, clocked 160 kmph on the highway and shes as steady as a hippo , as swift as a stalion. With a speed of steady 140, she returns a mileage of 18 kmpl. Packed with goodies like bluetooth audio system, its the best small car available in the market with a reasonable maintainance cost. And marutis diesels r expensive to…[Read more]

altho swift, vista, punto nd ritz share te same engine, drivability varies vastly….swift feels very quick wit te ddis….while punto wit aroung 100kilos extra feels very slow in comparison.
nd vista’s gear shift sucks nd feels slower…
bt i do agree tat figo’s engine s as capable nd drivability s gud too….

yeah. but its feature packed (minus fog lamps n alloy wheels it has everything that other diesel cars offer in their top variants) and at a very competitive price. I like that chilled glove box feature. hehe. Plus brand toyota. Like the ‘Honda’ cars even Toyota cars are treated as premium cars in Indian market accoring to many buyers!

its so worth the wait for the swift…buy it once and u shall never regret…
i20, polo and punto are expensive good for nothing dabba’s on four wheels….
and am not just talking about the swift for it being cheaper but its a gr8 car all2gether has got gr8 vfm and fuel economy and is fun to drive around be it the city or the highway.

Vista is hydraulic powered. Swift is Electronic. So swift steering will be smooth. I own a Manza, and love it for all except for slightly harder steering.

Here is my opinion, Engine refinement – Swift is better, Performance – Swift is better, Mileage – Swift is better, interiors – Polo is better, Features – Swift is better, Fit and Finish – Polo is better, Handling – Swift is better, Ride quality – Polo is better. its 5 points for Swift and 3 points for Polo.. choose yourself now :)

actually wid comparison of base models the polo is definitely the better car here, cos there are no features to think abt. though the polo engine is not as refined as the ddis, its stil excellent overall and peppy to drive. actually aravind, unlike u said, polo is the 3nd best handling small car in india, after the figo and punto and after all…[Read more]
