Firstly buying a diesel car would be a very wise choice, if you can spare the money :) If you are choosing between CNG and LPG choose on the basis of pumps. If LPG is readily available in your city then go for LPG otherwise opt for CNG. (CNG is safer :) )If you put CNG in your existing car it will work out to be very economical and with the rising…[Read more]

lpg is liqufied so is under much less pressure than cng which is compressed. anything compressed is under much larger pressure, i.e.heavier n larger tank.

@Carl Mistry..LPG is liquified..true but it seems CNG is lighter than air..and vanishes quickly than LPG. LPG forms lumps in the tank which is very dangerous. 2ndly..there is lot of difference int he average of LPG and CNG. CNG gives better average than LPG.

Toyota is known for its reliability &comfortable cars. &on other hand Ford is known for high maintainance cost &gr8 handling cars. Now its up to u to decide. My pick vl b Fortuner. As its resale vl b also high compared to endeavour.

This is quite a tough question. I ve seen 10 year old Endys going strong in India and the Fortuner too is known for its reputation to last. Ford spares “were” expensive but off late there has been a lot of cost optimisation by Ford. You should actually take a close look at both and then decide. Both of them are great cars, however at under 7 lakh you will get a 90 Bhp i20 against a 75 Bhp Punto, as the Punto 90 Bhp will cost you a little more.Hyundai has a wider service network while Fiat’s service is handled by Tata and many people have had problems. I personally have a Linea and have faced no issues with Service. I think you should…[Read more]

Feature for feature, the Hyundai i20 offers more, but there’s no arguing with the style and handling of the Punto. Overall, though the Hyundai i20 diesel may probably give you a bit more bang for your buck.

Punto 90 is cheaper, better to drive, has some unique features and is inexpensive to maintain but Service quality depends on the dealer.. I20 offers more features and has better service coverage.

the nly cars which look cooler than punto are the masserati and aston. Punto has unmatched styling and superior sporty handling. Though i20 offers more space and a wider and reliable service network. If u dnt plan a resale for ur car after sum years then go buy a punto

I would suggest you to go ith nissan sunny because fiat is too high on maintance. Ur overall cost of ownership will be much less with Nissan sunny. If u can wait for about a month or two nissan sunny will be launched in diesel variants also.

This tool helps you to decide between petrol and diesel:i made the comparo using this tool and it gave Linea to me as the EMI’s are low. Both the companies have pretty bad A.S.S but Somewhere Linea raises its hand because its merger with Tata which has 2nd largest service network,so Linea seems to be a better buy.

Whoa dude… even Nissan’s ASS sucks… and they have very little service centres, moreover linea for sure is a head turner and is a comfortable vehicle moreover you could get it serviced across india as tata services it and u always know, diesel saves you money…

the car with same engine as linea, and relatively cheaper to maintain and no horror stories of A.S.S is Maruti SX4 diesel… its a value for moneythough if u don’t mind the brand image then the cheaper tata manza runs on the same engine as linea, its a spacious car with awesome features and good build quality..

D mileage of d two r also same or +, -&regarding maintanance cost i20 has slightly more, but u can bare it. &only 1 thing swift has problm dt it rattles. But not in i20.
