New 320d will be in showrooms in 18 days … to be precise. it looks like a smaller 5-series but, .it will be costlier than the present model . Then comes S60 – for the exclusivity factor.. AUDI is not bad either… BUT , NEW 320d is the one…

Volvo S60 is best of them, but as the company is new in India not able to provide good services, very small network. BMW 320d is actually “sheer driving pleasure”. The car is very powerful and feels great to drive and always under control. Quattro is missing from Audi A4 2.0TDI, so is not that impressive but still spacious and have great looks.

Are you sure you want to go in for a diesel? The kind of premium the diesel models of these cars command over the petrols, you wont even come close to recovering that extra cost over a good 5 years with your running.

If the car is self driven, with not more than 2 passengers in it, go for the 320d. A very pleasurable car to drive, however, it is let down by a bad ride and mediocre interiors. If the car will have a driver, try the Merc.

BMW 320d is less spacious and has little stiff ride but has the best fuel economy out of three and a perfect driving car. It is powerful and fun to drive, you will enjoy every bit of the car. Audi A4 with 2.0tdi engine is not that impressive though it has good interior space and comfortable ride. A4 3.0tdi has quattro and V6, making it a powerful…[Read more]

If you want a great handling car, choose between the Rapid and the Vento since they are the same under the skin. If you want a car with features, the Verna it is. I d pick the Rapid diesel since it offers me a complete package and I like its looks compared to the Vento.

Verna is cramped but it performs well and has good feature list although its suspension is bit of an issue for the enthusiastic driver. Vento and Rapid are like sister cars, almost same…[Read more]

Chevy lost the plot when the gave this car the SRV’s nose. It ruined an otherwise handsome car. Sad that it will be gone as its a hugely capable car. It can still give with like of the Verna and Vento and Sunny a run for their money in many many ways. Another instance where bad marketing killed a genuinely good product.

For Rs 15 lakh, which is better value: Chevrolet Cruze or new Volkswagen Jetta

The new Volkswagen Jetta is now a lot more contemporary and competitive with a much more powerful diesel engine. The Jetta always had all the features one sought in a luxury car, but lacked the performance. Prices for the new Volkswagen Jetta start at Rs. 14.21 lakh, which puts it directly in competition with segment favorite, the Chevrolet Cruze.
