For drivability and handling, Swift. For refinement and features Punto (Emotion). For space and mileage: Liva and Vista. For space, features and handling: Figo. Micra for a refined engine and good mileage. Ritz for cost effectiveness and mileage.
From a pure value for money perspective, no package can be as good as the Vista’s. Both Swift and Punto are excellent cars to drive. So is the Figo but it does not ‘feel’ as upmarket. Micra and Ritz make for good city cars, especially for women. Liva suffers from obvious cost cutting and poor quality interiors but offers amazing interior space.…[Read more]
The Punto as far as looks and comfort are concerned, the Swift if its outright driving pleasure, the Ritz is simply a safe bet, the Vista, Figo and Liva have loads of space. The Micra has cute looks, though not everyone trusts Nissan as a brand in India, yet!
Safari’s ground clearance is 205 mm. So that is still higher. But Linea and Punto now have higher ground clearance than previous model – it has been increased by 20 mm.
The Punto 1.2 base variant has 195 mm ground clearance, while the other variants have 185 mm ground clearance. That’s more than the Scorpio though (180 mm). But technically, Scorpio’s ground clearance is 210 mm when measured from the body, but its 180 mm at its lowest point, which is measured at the rear axle differential.
Chevrolet Beat & MSI A-Star:-Two of the most Safest Cars Below 5,00,000 INR !!
There r many options liKe FORD FIGO, MARUTI A STAR, WAGON R. BEAT,LIVA…THESE ALL CARS COME WITH SAFETY FEATURES……OUT OF THESE CARS MY CHOICE IS ”FORD FIGO”.
Raja try Beat diesel, it smells good on the value its given. It is really good from the engine point of view as it shares the heart of fiat MJD,which made a good rapport on swift ritz punto vista.Figo is also good option with a nice engine from ford, but not modern as the rivals. Wagon R is good for safety and i20 does not comes under 5 lakhs.
above all cars r awesm in there style…i wuld lv to go 4 ford only….
All Hatch back are good but Maruti Wagon R is true value for money car…
Wagon-R makes sense…
Blue Eyed Boy is ruling in the segment…..truly an awesome car in terms of space and technology…..
ya its rel.
Where is Indica?
well I think govt sld make compulsory to all automobile manufacturers to provide some of the safety features like front 2 airbags, abs, ebd, ba, crumple zone, front and rear fog lamps, front and rear wipers and washers, side impact beams, both side day and night mirrors, inside mirror too, rear defogger, front & rear disks brakes, belt tensioners…[Read more]
But Hrishi if the govt makes all these compulsory think about the costs that would be in an alto which is now an entry level its highly impossible and the prices would rise up to 5 lakhs apprx.Instead strict driving rules and strict training should be given to the drivers at training and one should have atleast a common sense how to drive.
why hyundai i10, swift petrol not included… any reasons.
Neither car has a model that provides ABS and airbags below Rs 5 lakh. Only Swift ZXi has these features at Rs 5.4 lakh ex showroom, and i10 Asta 1.2 at Rs. 5.23 lakh
I love BEAT <3 <3.
beat…..plnng to get it.
I think Liva body material is too cheap & I have seen one whose bumper just teared apart after a simple dash.
Wher is FIAT Punto 2012 with more features and all the cars listed above
FORD FIGO
TRUE WINNER
