Right now, the best car you can buy for that kind of money is the VW Passat. Its 90% an E Class and costs half the money. A will be 2 sizes smaller and down on power but still be but a Merc nonetheless. March seems optimistic, it is expected only by mid 2013, with the saloon version sometime around the year end.
Like Shreyans said VW passat makes a lot of sense if focusing on comfort at a lower price tag(lower comparing a Merc
) it still will cost 25 lk.but if you want more brand image you can look at the X1.its an entry level vehicle still it has higher GC so driving on bad roads will be a breeze and being a beemer the driving charas will be a…[Read more]
skoda superb is also a brilliant car.
No information so far, but we’ll keep you posted the moment we get some confirmed plans.
Expected mid 2013.
Don’t think Sonata petrol is selling at all, maybe 10 cars or so I guess! if they want sales, they will bring the diesel soon. Otherwise, it means they just want a car to show off as top of the line.. I hope diesel comes in 2013
in 2013.
Volvo’s XC60 is a good VFM, equipment, comfort and safety at its best, but the engine is a bit noisy and not upto the other German rivals. Freelander 2 is the cheapest Land Rover available, has very good handling and cornering, no noise in the cabin, spacious rear seats and ultimate smooth ride but not a good VFM as the XC60. Volvo’s servicing is…[Read more]
Volvo has been around but their service centres are few and far between. The Delhi dealer: Kashyap Automobiles is a 40 year old company with experience in all luxury marques. They were erstwhile BMW dealers. I would prefer the XC60. The Freelander 2 seems too small and too basic. Of course, it would have car-like handling.
The the Volvo is the better and more luxurious vehicle overall; Freelander trumps it big time when it comes to off roading. The Land Rover can sustain a lot of physical abuse, which bodes well for our usual driving conditions. So it depends on your priorities……… Support for either brand is as good or as bad as the other with a minuscule…[Read more]
SUV or Sedan? Answer lies in that. New 3 series is a better one, offering much more. While for bad roads and off roading purposes Q3 makes more sense.
The Audi Q3 is an SUV – although a tiny one at that. It depends on what you want from the car. The new 3 Series looks very classy and sporty too. The 3 Series will be slightly more than 30 lakh on road for the base variant 320D. But the one to go for is the 320D Sportline or Luxury Line (Rs. 31.5 lakh ex-showroom). The Audi Q3 top-end variant is…[Read more]
The people we talked to did not know the price. Ideally around 16-18 lakh – but who knows!
I think Hyundai is just trying to gauge customer reactions to the Veloster and then consider a launch if it sees a sizable enough potential market. Yes, 16-18 lakh sounds about right.
kya kareg jaan ke……jo leni hai le le…
Hi Arun, we’ve not reviewed these cars yet. So far we haven’t ventured into the upper luxury segment, but we will be doing so soon.
New 320d will be in showrooms in 18 days … to be precise. it looks like a smaller 5-series but, .it will be costlier than the present model . Then comes S60 – for the exclusivity factor.. AUDI is not bad either… BUT , NEW 320d is the one…
BMW all the way
go for s60 if you looking to be different among the breeds of audi`s, bmw`s and mercs.. equally good car on performance n looks gud too. ‘m not sure about after will be as good as laters..
Volvo S60 is best of them, but as the company is new in India not able to provide good services, very small network. BMW 320d is actually “sheer driving pleasure”. The car is very powerful and feels great to drive and always under control. Quattro is missing from Audi A4 2.0TDI, so is not that impressive but still spacious and have great looks.
overall bmw go for it…
I think its best you contact your Audi dealer directly. You will get the exact price. Plus, Audi has only a lot of 500 cars to take bookings for and I dont think many are left.
