Swirl marks on the body in spite of the materials you use mean only one thing. You are not using sufficient water when washing the car and your microfibre cloth is not clean. Plastic parts tend to develop swirl marks too and you could use a plastic polish to restore them to a great extent. How long has it been since you got your car professionally…[Read more]

get your car polished by a professional and that would cure your car’s problem. Its not important that you wash your car only with car shampoo, you can use any normal shampoo we use daily, as they are not that hard and don’t have chemicals which can affect your car’s paint.

Regular maintenance cost are more or less same for both i20 and Swift. Now a days Swift diesel is using full synthetic engine oil (5W40) for hence it has become 3 times higher than i20 (which uses 15W40 ) in terms of engine oil change cost. Hi Ashu, a lot of people put synth oil in their vehicles and it does smoothen out the engine than mineral oil. But in my opinion, we should not move from the manufacturers recommendation simply because other parts such as air filter, oil filter, diesel filter as well as consumables such as various coolants and fluids remain the same and we need to…[Read more]

maintenance cost of i20 is less than of swift, 20 K km service costs around 9000 rs. On the other hand, i20 costs less. Each and every agency makes most money from servicing. There were several complaints against a Maruti dealer in our area, now their license is cancelled. Better option is to stick with the company specified engine oil and go for…[Read more]

Both these cars are at the top of the luxury saloon range but I would recommend the S-Class for pure, indulging luxury and also because the S-Class has won several awards time and again for being the best luxury saloon.

Do you drive yourself or are you chauffeur driven? The Merc S-Class is great for rear seat comfort and is good as a chauffeur driven car. But if you like driving yourself, then the Audi A7 (sportback) is the car to pick.

The A7 will give you some exclusivity than the S-class on the road.also if you occasionally drive the car,the A7 would be better than the Merc-S.however if you are looking at better brand value and the rear seat comfort only, the merc is the way to go.the most comfortable place to be in.Regards…

Since you mentioned A7, I think another car you should shortlist is the Mercedes CLS. The most beautiful car to look at, great comfort, and its a good drive too! But that is the car you should drive, and not give it to your chauffeur. If you have a chauffeur, then go fot the Mercedes S-Class.

you can go for HID kit, that’s not illegal. Usage of high beam is illegal. Any other bulb, emitting white light won’t help you in getting the better view of the road. If you don’t want HID, than just stick to normal yellow bulbs, you can use 100/130 or 90/100 philips bulbs to get the most light. You’ll have to install relays, that will help to get…[Read more]

I think you got a counterfeit bulb, just printed and packed as 90/100 this you didn’t find the difference. You need relay for these bulbs. That may also be the reason for dim light.

Within your budget you’ll get the Scorpio and Safari Storme as well. If 12 lakhs is your on-road budget, you won’t get the XUV500 now. Prices have just been increased after budget, and the base W6 is 12.06 lakh ex-showroom Delhi.

I dont see the smart side of spending 12L for a Duster. Really not worth that much money. As correctly pointed out above, you wont get an XUV for 12L. That leaves us with the Scorpio and the Safari Storme. Between them, its the Safari that is the better vehicle. More space, much more comfortable, better interiors and similar performance and FE.

Thar cannot match the refinement levels nor comfort level of Micra. If your driving is more off the road, than you can go for Thar,, its build like a tank and will last long than Micra.. If you want choice in this category with Thar, you can also opt for new Gypsy (if you can live with the running cost) if you want to do some serious offroading.…[Read more]

Swift Dzire ground clearance – 170mm | i20 – 165 mm so yes i20 is a bit lower and can scrape speedbreakers when 3-4 are seated, Dzire has lesser risk of it although 5 mm extra makes very little difference. Both cars are same length at 3995 mm, both cars have nearly identical fuel economy in city. i20 is definetly better looking, more spacious and…[Read more]

The i20 is more feature laden and spacious for occupants while the Dzire is more for the Maruti loyalist since it really doesn’t have any strong differentiating feature other than the fact that its a Maruti. I think 185/65 r13 is a bit too tall for the Indica – and it may foul with the wheel well. Check with a tyre size calculator available on the net if the outer diameter is more than 2% of the original size, that will lead to speedometer errors etc. The ideal upsize for you should be 175/60 R13, and this size is available for Indica whose OEM size…[Read more]
