if u looking for fun to drive and economical go for swift vxi as i am getting 17kmpl . bt if for space then go for i20 sports and punto dynamic . both are great cars
Plenty of options. You have the top end Ritz petrol. Nissan Micra is a very compelling package. And the Brio is an all time favourite.
Considering cars in the budget closer to the Figo Titanium, its the Ritz / Brio / Beat that have their own pros and cons. The Figo has handling, good space, bluetooth. The Ritz has the highest headroom, largest no of service centers. The Brio is quick, handles good, the best within the city. The Beat has a funky design at the dials, the rear door…[Read more]
I feel you should go for Ritz or Swift, that will be more VFM, certainly not Brio, it looks so small, only for small peoples with less height, pathetic.
Mr.Arun, consider a dsl car if ur mnthly run exceeds 1000kms…. n d 1.4L CRDi cannot even be compared wid 1.2 kappa since dey differ in CC and torque wise… i20 CRDi wud be the best one for a driving enthusiast which has gud level f power n torque & thus d i20 crdi is a far better car dan d i20 kappa… while 1.2L kappa i20, even if a bit…[Read more]
i20 1.2l kappa gud car bt offered u a very low FE 11-12kmpl in city and 14-15 kmpl in highways . if your running is more than 800 km permonth u can consider 1.4lcrdi . and i20 is better in 1.4crdi
As Nithish and Hitesh have explained, if you drive a lot diesel would be better, considering there’s a Rs. 1.2 lakh price difference between the two, variant for variant.
Hi Vivek, if you change your whole system now it will void your warranty. If you don’t mind that then you could go for JBL speakers, a woofer and an amplifier. The Amp will be hidden under your seats and the woofer will be place either as a box in your last row or slid partly under the seat.
Make sure you dont cut any main wiring to accomodate the new setup as the warranty on the car maybe compromised.and for the woofer,if you want to save the boot the setup can be easily setup under the front seats.this will save space and will give you added punch as it sits right under you
.go for JBL setup or Rockford.Regards…
thanx guys…
go for focal component system …u feel the clarity
Rokford Fosgate, kenwood, JBL, Alpine are the most common 7 powerful audio system
Audio installation depends on your budget & the quality u want, otherwise u could go for more costlier audio system which would be at quiet a premium
An average audio system with a woofer & Amp cost around 15-20K
Not 165/80 but 165/70R14. Why do you want to do this? Using narrower tires on the Brio is not a great idea.175/65R14 means the tire is 175mm wide, has aspect ratio(sidewall thickness) of 65% of the width and runs on 14 inch rims. Correspondingly, 165/70R14 means 165mm, aspect ratio 70% and 14inchers. Aspect ratio is brought one step up as the…[Read more]
thanks ..
No, the parking light has the switch . Once you on the headlight , there is a second lever which is to be turned on for Rear Fog Light. When you switch off the headlight it will also turn off along with it.
Thanks Atul. I stand corrected.
No sir, you are our Guru. its just that with so many cars around one tends to get mixed up.
I wud suggest Swift VVT which offers gud handling n drivability, perfrmance without compromising on mileage n above all maruti’s reliability ,durability n A.S.S…. Consider i20 Fluidic if u need sporty looks, features n comforts….
what fuel economy will i expect from i20 ????
i20 petrol wud deliver a mileage of 11-12KMPL in cities & 14-15 KMPL on highways, depend upon d driving styles & road condition….
i have a swift vxi 2012 nd its giving 17.4kmpl overall ….nd will drive i20 with the same foot . then what u can say what i can expect from i20

FE-wise, the i20 will give a little less than the Swift. So in your case, I guess, 16.5-17kmpl. But you’l get a bigger car, more boot space and the best front seats on a hatchback to go with the extra equipment.
@shreyans i think 16 kmpl is not bad for i20
Yes.. the i20 is a better buy because of big space and comfort like sedan..U may expect it to deliver abot 13-14 and 16-17 kmpl in city and highway rides
@Hitesh Verma We normally observe a 1kmpl difference in the FE of petrol version of the the i20 and the Swift. Of course, it all comes down to the traffic conditions and the driving style. You can expect 16+, given that you are getting 17.5kmpl with your Swift, which is excellent. We usually say 11-12kmpl for the i20 petrol under city conditions…[Read more]
@shenoy @shreyans wht abt the GC ???
Swift’s is better than the i20′s. The longer wheelbase and the softer suspension on the Hyundai means you got to be careful over bad roads.
Swift has 170mm GC…
and the i20 has 165mm
MS Alto K10 wud be my pick…. its 1.0L K-Series engine perfrms well n offer gud mileage too… Also, marutis maintenance is on lower side dan others n maruti is known for reliability n A.S.S…
Between these cars, its advantage Beat. The 1.2 engine produces about 85hp and is superior to the 0.8/1.0 engines on the other options. Of course, its FE will be a bit lower in comparison but still nothing to worry. It looks the part, has better ride quality, more space, most equipment and is backed by Chevy’s maintenance packages.
What about Chevy Spark…petrol
Alto K-10 for its performance, reliability and frugality.
EON -for its space and reliability.
Beat-for a good mix of performance, space and futuristic design and interiors.
sorry..no beat..but cevy spark for comparison.
go for Alto K 10 as the new K series engine is v.good.
this engine pf 1L is in wagan r, a-star also.
it delivers a good FE also and more over you would get better space too.
alto k10 has all the abilities that u want . just go for it dont get distracted .
between alto k10 and spark i would choose the alto k110 fun to drive fuel efficient..
Alto K10 for Performance.. And Eon for better space and comfort… Spark for Better features
That’s really cool… but at 700kms so quickly…u should have gone for a diesel model
Are you running it on a treadmill , its Awesome.
@shenoy actualy my running is not that much …i went to chandigarh from mandi (h.p) to get my car some good quality of accessories so its 400kms unless my running is very limited ..
ok..thats good!!!
Get a good Pioneer or JVC single DIN head unit for about Rs. 10,000 and add JBL speakers (four speakers) front and rear. That should just about fit in your budget.
Punto 90HP, Vista D90 and i20 are the top three in terms of power. Of these, looking at performance and fit and finish, the Punto 90HP is the best of the lot (even though the Vista D90 is almost identical mechanically – as it has the same engine). i20, although it has a six-speed gearbox and is a great highway cruiser, is not that performance…[Read more]
If you ignore the after sales service Punto is the best. i20 is good looking, loaded with features and is more good for city riding. It may give you trouble on highway if you are on high speeds. Rest, Mr. Roshan has said it.
For ultimate Power.. Look at Vista D90,,Punto and Hyundai i20!!! For good fit and finish.. i20 is the 1st choice..it has premium finish like that of many sedans as well as the space and comfort too!!!
i20 is fuel efficient too..and offers loads of features…
MY 1st choice will be Punto-For Power and the next will be i20- For Features and Good…[Read more]
