Haven’t heard of Dusters having such issues. Does he use it on very bad roads regularly? Which city is the vehicle at?
Ya even my car has sam prob it is just som kind of tak tak sound wen u go on pot holes its a 5min job to sort it but will reoccur if u drive it rashly on bumps Renault needs to sort this out many have the sam and only complain

@sujeeth we live in ahmedabad and the roads are very good if we miss some sort distance, we have doen door setting for 3 times but after couple of km ( 1500km) sound comes again and again. not even bad roads but if we turn the car or break hard on flan flat road, sound still coming like doors are half colse.
@Roshun sir, i also booked duster 110ps rxz but for this reason i didn’t take delivery since march 5th. my car is there but afraid for this prob and waiting for some more feedback. is it regular with all duster or only some duster are suffering with this door prob.
To be frank, I’ve not heard too many Duster complaints so far, and this is new to me too. I’ll ask around and see what feedback other Duster owners have. That’s the beauty of such forums, we depend on feedback from actual owners to help other buyers. Let me get back to you on these issues – will also check with the company.

DONE 2100km from 1 month and have some issue as i mentioned before. DOORS, yes there is some noise starting coming out. maybe after 4000 or 5000km it will giving me a rattling doors for sure. Music system keep closing it self automatically, don’t know way. and last drive set is loose ( going forward when pressing breaks hard).
As far as I know the Duster RXZ variant comes with an integrated 2DIN Audio system with USB, Aux-in & Bluetooth along with 4 speakers. Even the official website does not claim that it has an 18 cm touch screen, this might be a dealer offer. Where did you hear about this?
i got this news from TEAM-BHP forum, they are talking about some update in interior of upcoming duster after month.
This option is there for the Duster – it’s an optional extra that you can get from Renault instead of the standard system.
going by brand name its liva., there is engine noise considerably audible inside the cabin, fit & finish is also not good. as far as price is concerned a few more thousands & top spec figo titanium can be bought. i’ll put my money on ford figo though there might be some problem locating service stations.
As far as value for money is concerned – the Ford Figo is more value for money because of the features, fit and finish it offers at the price, compared to the Toyota Liva.
Figo is more VFM – but Liva is much more spacious. If space is crucial, then Liva but otherwise, Figo is more VFM.
Guys engine and long term ownership which one would you prefer?
Figo is a Value for money with decent interior quality compared to Liva, which has not very much good interiors. Performance of both cars is equally good. Go for Figo it will be good for long term.
Both should be fine. I don’t think there is anything to choose between the two, both have proven solid engines. Long term ownership, I think the noise and interior of the Liva will begin to feel unsatisfactory after a few years.. but I am just guessing there. Lots of Figo owners have no complaints about it after a few years, so that’s a safe bet.

Different brands have different prices. So far I’ve only seen Dieseltronic and Pete’s in action, so can’t really comment on any other brand of tuning box. Hopefully, someone else will have some insight into this.
Dieseltronic is manufactured by Karthik of Race Dynamics based in Bangalore. Their products are competitive, reliable and economical. One major benefit is that in case service/repair etc is required, shipping and return won’t take as much time as the other brands because none of them sell directly here and are sold through distribution channels.

so far i’m not feeling a big change… on full tank and high.. it was 680 in 36-37 litrs…
now its 640… thats it… but there is a big change in the performance..

gd,but i hav touched 172 with my swift on yamuna exps highway,and also taken a snap simoultaneously,and almost for 15 secs i was able 2 maintain that speed,without any alteration,
How much has the Dieseltronics costed you including installations.
installation is nothing.. it is just a plug and play device… you have to just unpluged the fuel rail socket and plug the DT socket in it.. cost 19,999…
i have installed cosworth air filter in my swift vdi. i can feel better punch than stock filter after 2000rpm in any gear at any speed. want some more fun so can you suggest it for my 3.5 years old 70000km swift vdi

Race chip is better as the price is lower and you have the choice to increase or decrease the power settings manually also if you are not satisfied with the stock settings of race chip.my friends have it in their car too.no reliability issues too.

Rohit i have tested almost all the chips available in the market. best one is pete’s. but its lil expensive. if you want to choose between racechip and diesel tronic. go for diesel tronic.

We advise you to remove the unit before taking the car to the service center for a warranty claim. Once removed, the unit leaves no evidence that it was installed.

ford ecosport will be limited within 4 adults only, just see the size of it and u will notice its close to Premear rio, best for ride and handling is DUSTER and for VFM go for XUV5oo W8 FWD. i m still hunting for my new suv but cant make my choice between DUSTER and XUV5oo

For five people, I wouldn’t recommend the Duster – it’s too cramped. Safari Storme or XUV500 W8 would be your best choices here. But for ride quality and handling, the Duster is better.
Safari Storme VX will be the best for five people family with enormous boot space and comfort also solid built quality. I don’t know why people compare Duster with Safari it just like comparing a overgrown kids with an adult even it doesn’t a qualify for term SUV.

XUV500 itself is a VFM product by M&M. All the variants are very well priced. Check the feature list compare both W6 & W8 variant. Whatever features u want in ur car then go accordingly to that variant.
yes xuv5oo is itself a VFM but u can go for w8, coz it has all the goodies we need those days, going for AWD is not a good ideas as per my thinking, no one doing offroding more than 3 days of years.
Yes MNM has made it very carefully and is very good car to buy. It is so VFM that any variant is VFM. But the 2WD W8 variant is much better than W6 as it is loaded with features.
