Here is the article (of 10th November) I saw on the net: but I hope we get to hear some good news.
Yeah! BUT I can at 8-10 cars a day with full dark tinted.. some even on front windsheild
Agree…! FYI: I have not yet installed it in my one car – and – not yet removed it from my another car!
Lol..
Not seen any new development on this so far. Will find out if there’s been any change. Last I heard the complete ban is still in force.
I too have only heard of a complete ban on any kind of sunfilm and no new development on usage or allowance of a certain percentage of tint. I guess it would be best to stay away from sunfilms for the time being till a formal announcement is made.
Yes, its true……
Both the Fortuner 4×4 as well as the Pajero Sport cost 25L on road Delhi. Lets hope Hyundai matches that.
Wow! looks are great as all Hyundai cars.. But the question is, does it have the handling n ride quality!
I have same classy alloys on my i20. Looks great!
I have the same classy alloys on my i20 as this new Santa Fe. Looks Gr8!
Drive at high gears (i10 is 5 speed i guess so drive at the 5th gear) and avoid gear shifts to lower gears n drive at a speed of 70-80kmpl i have heard it give more fuel economy on those speeds……
Keep it at between 70-80 kmph and in 5th as much as possible. Don’t accelerate hard, be gentle and just enjoy the drive. Anticipate when you need to slow down and just ease off the accelerator instead of braking at the last minute. You will get your desired figure.
If the Van is old, refresh the engine and upgrade the tires, anything else is not recommended.
Improving the performance of the Omni is tough since it has a small engine and a basic 4 speed gearbox. However, if the vehicle is under performing, he could get it checked. I recommend the Sagar Automobiles, Bannerghatta Road branch.
@ Devdath sir any where near Rajajinagar please?
None that I would recommend Madan.
Thanks sir.. I will Inform my friend..
Hi, with your normal phone connection, there are some GPRS plans. So when you use google maps on the phone, the charges according to that GPRS connection apply as data is being downloaded.
Sir I was asking about GPRS Devices..
I think you mean GPS (Geographical positioning system), which is alocation service based on satellite position as against GPRS (General packet radio service) which is the tech used for data/internet on the phone. Anyway, for GPS devices – the maps are customized – either SatGuide or MapMyIndia. You have a one time cost for the device and included…[Read more]
MapmyIndia’s Road Pilot would be a good standalone GPS device. Otherwise, if you have a good smartphone (you can go for cheaper ones like Micromax / Karbonn) with GPS and Google Maps, nothing like it. Google Maps now gives you turn by turn navigation and voice, and I used it last week when I was in Chandigarh / Punjab and it worked brilliantly on…[Read more]
@ Roshun: Sir does it cost for these GPS connection n Google Maps.. r We have just buy the devices?
amount is justified ,but oil change not rt now get it changed at 7000kms approximately
amount is right and they use Genuine oil at the workshop.try to switch to better oils like magnatec or simply normal mineral oil with better quality.for the moment stick to the reccomended service periods.i change my oils every 5000kms or 6months even though they recommend change at 10k or 1yr in the manuals. Its a healthy exercise…Regards
@joy thanks for your reply, should i go for the oil change @ 3500 kms for the new car?
wait till 5000kms or as manufacturers spec.after running in,say 10,000 do change at half marks as i do than the reccomended specs or switch to synthetic.
The price of the oil change is fine but why do u want to change it before the stipulated time….??? Just follow the instructions in accordance to the manual(schedule of service ) as that would suggest the best way of keeping your vehicle in good condition with minimum cost.
The price seems to be justified.. Change of oil prior to requried time is a good habit.. but just 3500 km is too early.. So better change it some where around approx 6-7k km.. else if you aren’t running too much then better to change it during next service that is exactly 1 year from the purchase date.. but b care full that you don;t run more than…[Read more]
Honda City is the best of the lot when it comes to pleasing the enthusiast. And frankly, the Verna disappoints with that. It is more of a lady’s car, not something that brings out the Schumacher in you.
Honda city would be a perfect choice in this case. You’ll get best in class driving experience in the city.
Honda City Definetly if its a petrol.
Verna does not stand in front of honda city
Verna does not stand in front of honda city
all the way honda city!!!!!
Verna is great car in ever aspect but it disappointment to enthusiastic drivers who love to drive fast due to its soft suspension n light steering.. Where as Honda city is a awesome car.. the exterior looks great.. N even a kid love drive that car.. Its handles very well even in high corners too.. so if you looking car that’s not afraid of going…[Read more]
Sorry to sound like the devil’s advocate but I would suggest neither. For fast and sporting driving, one should look at the Cedia or better still a slightly used Civic.
Honda city has a gem of a engine but not so sporting suspension or steering. EPS is a dead bet in the corners, very light and not meant for enthusiasts. Good car for city and occasional highway blast and better than verna in almost all the aspects except Gizmo level.
If u r looking for a car which you would love to drive then u should consider…[Read more]
Nishant: I did not mention TJet+ because apparently it’s production is stopped and they are still unable to clear 2011 made models.
As per your monthly running 600 km, Petrol car makes a sense as you have run 60k km to get a return of investment on a diesel car which would be approx 1 lakh more than its petrol counter part.. n in your budget you will get plenty of options Brio is good car apart from the its looks.. i10 looks good has a great interior n exterior but handling is…[Read more]
Petrol will be enough also can look at the lpg/cng variants also if the petrol price is an issue.anyways diesel doesnot do justice to the extra lakh on purchase for the daily running you have.Look at the swift,i20,etc also there are a lot of cars in the 6 lakh category but choose one that gives good mileage as it is a petrol car and gives balance…[Read more]
Go for a Petrol model yaar… ur running is quiet Low.. No need to go for a diesel variant
Thanks for your reply….I m looking for Petrol version with low maintenance and best look

How Can 1 consider brio in Perminum Segment?????
Yay ! my car has least problems!! yippeee
good work cartoq….
good work cartoq….
why isnt safari storme mentioned anywhere ?
@ devir – Here top 3 car with least initial quality problems are taken into consideration.. How do you expect a TATA in any of the segments? when you have HONDA, Toyota & Suzuki up thr.
Brio’s top variant’s price is more than 5.5 lacs, I think, thats why they have placed Brio in premium segment hatch.
Why wasn’t Wagon R considered for hatchbacks?
why is there no hyundai i20…
