Xuv has 200mm of GC.Regards…
Hi Vivek,Check out this link to the XUV500′s website. GC is mentioned as 200mm.http://mahindraxuv500.com/product/specifications.htm
200mm is correct
as i had taken the tet drive of sunny as well as new fiesta in diesel version and found both as jet engines , but in nnissan there is some turbo lag , i would like to know what wil be the experience when i drive or own the ford ecosport , or let me know which is the best option for me
The diesel engine in the Ford EcoSport is same as that of the new Ford Fiesta. Other engine option will be highly efficient 1.0 liter Eco-Boost petrol. The cars you mentioned are of different leagues. The Sunny is a mid-size saloon whereas EcoSport is a compact SUV. If you are mostly chauffeur driven, go for the sunny as it has more legroom at the…[Read more]
Going by your profile pic, I think you are a fan of SUVs. In which case, you will definitely like the EcoSport better than the Sunny – because of the higher driving position and looks.
EcoSport is The BEst
hello mr roshan thanks for compliment for the pic , well this is one of my favourite car hummer , as i ahve a very mix type of liking , as i love bmw my once in life time owning car , but even though i like rolls royce , so it was a dream come true to get the snap clicked with hummer as i have one snap with rolls royce. well i drove sunny it…[Read more]
I guess we are all waiting for that news to be officially announced. The Ecosport has to feature among the most awaited car in 2013.
Most Probably in The month of Feb or March – 2013.
The Maruti 800 is no longer available in metros. But in a BS-III standard city you will get it in limited numbers. It is about Rs. 50,000 more than the Nano, but is a better car to drive – it can do city and highway trips. However, seating space wise – the Nano is actually better. Most people nowadays opt for either the Alto or the Nano, with very…[Read more]
Tata is now offering some essential equipments on Nano like music system, alloys, dacals, 2 glove boxes, etc. for free of cost which can attract buyers.
Tata Nano is more spacious n nw der r some added features in it… n u can be proud dat ur gng 2 drive an iconic car…..
Tata Nano is Better..
nano is better for that cost if u put an another 1 lack u will get alto 800 which is better
Tata Nano is the newer car of the two and is also a better car. The car is worth the money that you pay
Nano if you are tall and the new Alto 800 otherwise.
Liva is a better car.. why not the Swift?
Thank u for ur suggestion……Though swift being the gr8 car and king of this segment……i hv decided nt to go for it because it has become too common on our indian roads.
If you want the uncommon one why not the Punto?
i20 is the Best option…..
yes i hd a thought of punto…m a BIG BIG fan of fiat……bt problem with fiat is their after sales……..nearly 2 years ago we were the proud owners of Fiat Palio for almost 5 years…….bt v faced problems with availability of spares……Punto in Fantastic car no doubt at all……bt my father is not ready to take risk to go with fiat…[Read more]
U cant get an i20 diesel for 6 lakhs.Even the Era version is above 6 lakhs..If u want space go for Liva..It has the best in class space…
Thanks Arun…
Please test drive Liva and Micra, and then buy the Micra!! i20 maybe a bit over your budget, but its a premium hatchback.
u should go for micra diesel..its fuel efficient !!! i20 will not fit in ur budget
go for punto gr8 car..best handlind..
handling*
Micra has a noisy engine.. +Nissan service centers are fewer in number compared to Toyota/Maruti/Fiats..
Tata Manza Club Class Petrol is Better.
Skoda is definitely better.. its way higher in build quality than Tata.
Skoda Rapid petrol. It has better build quality and is a better overall car, with better ride and handling. Manza Club Class has a lot of features, but it is not on the same level as the Rapid when it comes to side comfort and handling at speed.
Skoda Rapid all the way!
I’d stick my hand up with Tata. Manza is bigger inside out, its ride and handling is about as good as the Rapid, atleast at regular speeds. But its cabin is plusher and more premium and the rear seat is so much more comfortable. And then, the further you stay from VW service, the better.
What abt mileage of both the cars?
Similar. Expect 11-12kmpl in city with both cars.
Nissan Sunny, Renault Scala, Hyundai Verna Fluidic, Honda City, Ford Fiesta, etc.
Both are good cars n mind both f dm belngs to diff. segments, ie. rapid is a c2 segmnt car while manza is a c1 segment car… em usng manza safire AURA ABS since 2010 n frm ma xperience itself i can say dat its jz an awesum car , a tru VFM…. em gettng a mileage f 12-14KMPL in cities & 15-17KMPL on highways without compromising on power n…[Read more]
If you are going in for petrol go in for the CITY. The name speaks for itself. TATA cars do not age well and and you will always face some frequent niggles. CITY on the other hand is tried and tested vehicle. SKODA service always scares away customers. Better check out the CITY. It will suit you well and to add, it is a very enthusiastic and…[Read more]
Value for Money is going to be Verna. guud After sales…. and a good resale value..
Yes I Agree with carcraze….. In This Price range Fludic Verna is a car in terms of features, power , comfort and also value for money” …. !!!
Verna has poor handling and suspension, plus it has a light build – the bumpers and fog lamps break easily while the body catches dents quickly. Verna has a powerful diesel but you will never be able to really stretch it due to the poor driving dynamics. Vento and Rapid are much more sorted sedans with all the features that the Verna has, plus…[Read more]

i think u should buy fluidic vernacar that redefines style, luxury and power. Following a fluidic sculpture design philosophy that seeks to create cars that are inspired by nature and are based
on the natural rhythm of life, it harmoniously blends power with style. With uninterrupted curves and a Coupe like sporty profile, the new Verna engages…[Read more]

I personally liked the new ford fiesta ….
Fiesta is a good car and is one of the best handlers in the segment. You can throw it around tight corners in the Ghats and it will obey your every command. Interior space is at a premium though. But if you liked the Fiesta go for it since you will love the way it drives. In my opinion the best driver’s cars in the C-segment are Linea > New…[Read more]
There are talks in the market that Ford is hard on your wallet , when it comes to maintenance … not sure if this is true since they have manufacturing plants in India now …
Also one thing that worries me , why am I not seeing the new Ford Fiesta cars on road … ?
Hyundai Verna Fluidic is Best.
Verna – If you think VFM from a feature list perspective. This car has the worst high speed handling in its segment and the most comfortable suspension at slow speeds. Vento – If brand value is what you are looking for, since for some people VW as a brand is some out of this world German engineered amazing piece of machinery, which in reality is…[Read more]
All are having heavy maintenance but you can go for fiesta petrol model.
Ford Fiesta is a Good Option….
Polo’s maintenance is on heavy side as compared to Ford’s. However Polo will fetch you more resale value when you are going to sell it in near future. I will suggest you for Fiesta classic due to its great handling and being a sedan car which is more preferable than a hatch. What are the years of purchase of these cars?
i doubt u will not get polo petrol within 45k km for 3 lacks………….. nd maintenance is on higher side for sure……………..
Fiesta (if you need a sedan), Figo (if you have more running and needs diesel), Polo (solid but expensive to maintain, and not a sedan). Are you getting a decent Fiesta in that price range?
Fiesta which i am getting is 2009 model and it has done 38000 km. Top variant and its under 3.5 lacs. Polo 1.2 petrol is 2010 model and asking price is 3.00 lacs. It has done only 18000 km.
Buy the way friends if we keep aside these options for a while what else we can look for within 3 Lacs price bracket in petrol with an option to change it to CNG in future. Suggest some good options please.
boss something is fishy about the price you have been quoted for these cars
The price is really good for the cars. I’ll advise to pick Polo as it is a great car and has great handling ability along with the Brand value. But its maintenance is on higher side as compared to other brands.
i20 will provide you more comfort and space along with long list of features but its not capable of great highway driving . However many users like the steering feels of i20 very much because of its light steering, its mainly of city driving. The areas where Swift scores more is reliability , great handling, along with more mileage. i20 looks more…[Read more]
Swift diesel.
The Swift scores in driving dynamics and purchase cost, rest just about everything (including regular service costs) its the I20 all the way. So the Swift only if the I20 Asta is out of budget or if driving pleasure is the prime priority. If you are open to other hatch backs, the Sail UVA is very well rounded and practical just like the Ritz. The…[Read more]
You should go for i20…….
No car is perfect and you will like something here and there from every car.
its like discussing to identical products and the choice merely depends on the Brand its attached with.
Whats your criteria Maintenance, VFM or Long term ownership plan. Sorting it this way will lead you to the right car for you.
I dont know why but I never found i20…[Read more]
According to your budget, you can also consider Fortuner. It has all the qualities that you are searching for within your budget. A 2WD mannual variant will get around 20 lacs ex-shorum
As you said, I will also consider Fortuner. I basically only need for city driving and highways, and no off-roading. I am looking for manual/diesel. What are the different variants of the Fortuner.
Fortuner is availiable in 3 variants- 2WD manual, 2WD automatic and 4WD manual. The features are same in all the variants. Since you dont want an offroader, it is advisable to go for the 2WD manual variant which will save you more than 2 lacs from the top variant 4WD
According to your options – Mahindra XUV 500 W8 is Best.
I will consider the fortuner 2WD manual. Mohit, XUV 500 I am hearing that there are some complaints and all, also brand name.
