I think ecosport will launch in april or may. diesel engine of ecosport is the same 1.5 L. DIESEL engine which is currently use in fiesta. there is a news that ford is going to launch AT versions too. 6 speed AT version will give more or less the same mileage as fiesta. regards.

If we want good fuel economy and more features then I think it is better to stick with a sedan. Regarding driving pleasure – majority of the SUVs, due to their taller stance, despite their higher center of gravity as compare to sedans, feel more fun to drive but I think that depends upon personal choice. Had I been at your place, my choice would…[Read more]

As I read the words “driving pleasure” and “Duster” in the same line, I will ask you to wait for a couple of weeks before finalizing. The Ecosport will be launched this month and promises to be the car to watch out for.

yes… verna has lot of features and duster doesnt… but looking at the price points, both the cars are good competitors…I would get a compact suv with good driving pleasure for that same price point.. so i am seriously confused…. i enjoy driving on highways and in the city tooo… i am worried about good mileage and features where driving…[Read more]

In that case, as Shreyans correctly mentioned, Duster or upcoming EcoSport could be the one for you! :)

TD vehicles are subjected to a lot of abuse. People want to “test” the car’s pick up, gearshift, braking, grip and what not in 5 minutes. The clutch is bound to be hard, and the car shaky in general. Mileage on the Verna AT is not great as its only a 4speed automatic. The diesel AT gives only about 11kmpl in city. The Ecosport will be launched in…[Read more]

The diesel Ecosport will share its engine with the Fiesta, which is perhaps the most efficient in its class. 17-18kmpl in city is no big deal. As for the petrol 1.0Ecoboost, this is a brand new engine which promises the performance of 1.6engines with economy of small engines. Right now, we can only take Ford’s word for it. Turbo petrols in general…[Read more]

if only 2 people are travelling most of the time in the car,,then y not go for Chevy Cruze..Its muscular and powerful and u will really feel good while driving it….bt u may get less mileage in it..features are also good in cruze..
but if u want more features,,then go for XUV 500..it has great features and mileage is also good!!!

Your choices are very different from each other! Mahindra’s service quality in my opinion is nowhere near what you can expect with the Jetta. XUV500 is very value for money etc, but it is still not on the same level as a Jetta. I would say, for lots of features etc, go for XUV500 – but for peace of mind, choose Jetta. As Shenoy says, Cruze is also…[Read more]

If you are going to drive yourself, usually maximum 2 people and any manufacturer is fine then in that budget a very involving and wonderfully feature loaded car is the Laura vRS. The driving pleasure is unmatched while mileage will be on the lower side. The thing with the Jetta is that all VW’s look pretty similar from the front. The Polo, Vento,…[Read more]

Most of the problems in XUV are sorted out….i think you may get around 12 kmpl in city and 15 on highways in the XUV….
if u still fell that XUV has some problems in it..then go for Chevy Cruze…another option is Neo Fluidic Elantra…it has gr8 features and is value for money sedan!!!

Elantra has got only 1.5lt Desiel engine.. and looks more like verna.. I am really confused between the trio Curze, Jetta and Skoda.. Cruze doesnt have good resale value.. Skoda and Jetta maintenance costs are more.. Also skoda mileage is less compared to the other two… Features in skoda seems to be less compared to the other two…Jetta doesnt…[Read more]
