AC of Honda Amaze is also good. Not know how good is the Ford cars AC but amaze can cool down a fully heated due to under direct sunlight with outside temperature 40* within 2-3 minutes on full blower speed. Normally i keep the blower on 2 & the cabin is cool as requred.
Amaze’s AC is just as good as the Figo’s. And its blower makes much less noise.
Ford has the best A/C ever since Ford Ikon. I have pesonally experienced that and I admit Even Suzuki (Subros), FIAT (who claim of bigger compressor), Toyota or Honda ain’t any close. Even the blower noise is very less on Figo.
Clocked 4852 in around 18 Days only with just 100+ showrooms all over india. Even the most of the Indians still don’t know about Amaze.
I booked Amaze Petrol on 15th April. They had promised delivery within 10 days, later extended it to within April and then May. Both Honda & the dealership are not responding to email/phone… The response of the car is so good that they are not bothered if you buy or cancel booking. Showing true indian customer service level…
Overall Honda Amaze is better with powerful engine, compact but spacious, Better Mileage, Even in looks department amaze is better.
Honda Amaze petrol is a better bet against ETIOS G both Petrol variants ?
Yes
Amaze
Why not Considered City AT?
Kindly take a look at the Fiesta AT, it offers 2.4L kms or 10 years warranty. The autobox is sealed and maintenance free. Also the car is dynamically very good. Since you have no issues with resale, this is one good car you should check out. As mentioned by Sandeep, the City is also an extremely proven AT. I would recommend you these two cars. Regards.
Agree with both Amit and Sandeep – Fiesta AT or City AT are the better choices here.
no
Seems very high. Please avoid any car which is more than 15 years. Buy only from known people who have maintained it very well.
avoid dear!!!! too old ……
No brother not at all……….Too high priced for a 17 year old car plus it will empty your pockets, these kind of old SUVs have high maintenance costs rather go for any other used suv like maruti suzuki grand vitara or a Chevy chaptiva or Honda CRV is also a nice suv,you might get these suv in the same price range plus they won’t be 17 years old.
One more thing please tell the guy who is selling the old Pajero that even bhangarwala won’t buy that 17 year old car why is he even trying to sell it to someone else………… No offence
Just kiddin
what is the rate per kg that hes asked ?
Take it if it is well maintained & the price is 2.5 Lakhs.
oh sorry i forgot to mention…..its a 3 door imported model pajero 2800 automatic diesel !! i liked the size…………thts why i was considering it !!
Ohhhh……………Yes the size is good & it looks better than the bigger size Pajero. Try to bargain more. If the condition is good.
Bargain a bit……& .buy it definitely . If you want affordability on every front buy maruti 8oo. And Pajero still sells at premium in Punjab.
Plati alloys are good. if u wants to upgrade ur tyre upgrade to 185/55-15″ size.
I would advise against upsizing the rims of your Liva, however, like Sandeep has suggested, you can take a look at Plati alloy wheels. The other brands worth recommending are Neo and HRS.
You could pick the petrol VX rim size which is a 15-inch with 185/60 R 15 tyres if you want.
borther ur comparing a 8 lakh vehicle with a 12 lakh one ??? obviously verna is far better vento is also good and if low on budget by the diesel sail powerful than etios
Verna is better because is expensive than Etios & loaded in many ways than Etios.
The Verna, easily. It belongs to a higher segment, is better built, more powerful and comfortable.
Anyday, Fluidic verna.
Most comfortable vehicle for 5: Tata Safari Storme. It is surprisingly easy to park as well. The turning circle is really good.
Thanks Shreyans, does it have auto transmission ?
I think u r considering Diesel. In ur Budget u can only get 2 vehicles. One Hyundai Verna & another is Mahindra Scorpio. Both can carry 5 in comfort & almost same in length & turning radius (half a meter more in Scorpio). Scorpio have optional 4WD. Both the vehicles are similar in features. U will get more FE in Verna. Take ur pick now
Like Shreyans has said, the most comfortable vehicle in this range for long distances but it does not have an automatic option. If the AT is a must, then you can look at the Scorpio in its captain seat configuration.
Scorpio automatic
No AT in the Storme, but the Aria(Storme with 7 front facing seats) will soon get one, along with a serious power boost. Tata has sourced a 6 speed AT from GM to shoehorn into the Aria. This is the same gearbox that was till very recently being used in the BMW X1 petrol models.
Thanks everybody, will wait till aria AT and will also look at Eco sport AT though space will be compromised rather than dated Scorpio.
Mind you, Ecosport AT will be petrol only. Same 1.5 petrol engine and 6 speed dual clutch gearbox combo as the Fiesta AT
There are Many SUV’s within your Budget.
What are ur requirements in an SUV.
In this u can get Rexton manual model on road.
bmw x1
rexton or yeti
What do you need in this vehicle? How many seats? Do you need 4WD? What are the kind of distances you will cover on an average?
its happens with my i20 diesel, but always
Thats the turbo whistle, and you here it whenever the turbo spools, read above 1500rpm on the Amaze and above 2000rpm on the i20
@Shreyans Jain i thought same but mostly i hear it when engine is on idle. RPM at that time never cross 1500 RPM.
The Amaze uses liquid filled engine mounts. They are soft and are designed to keep the car vibration free on the move. Perhaps what you hear is just the engine rocking about on its mounts. As for the whistle, it has to be the turbo, unless of course the fan belt is loose
Another 150 Km and i will take it for first service. Sound what i can hear is not any fault as far as i know.
